I've been MIA for a while but have returned to fanfic, and I'm so happy that I got to read the rest of your story. I've enjoyed reading about Thranduil and Charlotte's transition to each other's worlds (and chuckling at each of them in turn), and appreciated your lovely OCs as well (as a side note, could we ever hope for a one shot of Maerwen revealing her new lingerie to Galion? I would be so down for that). I'm really happy that we got a happily ever after, and that Charlotte was finally able to have the baby she always wanted. Wow. I didn’t check my gmail for days. I didn’t know that it was the end. You have come a very long way in writing this. I’m sad that it’s ended but there’s a kind of different feeling with it. Your other fanfic may have me reading Harry Potter, for the first time. :D There’s so many things I can’t put in words.

How wonderful. A fitting end to this terrific story. I must say, it struck me as a little bit too romantic-sounding when Legolas showed up. Glad it wasn’t.

Looooove that Hérion and Alastegiel paired up. Sad that Tallagor passed on, but he had a great life. Too bad he couldn’t have been Harrow’s great great great grand-daddy.

Love that Charlotte became the royal bookkeeper!

A few issues: why does it take a full 24 hours before Leggy goes to see his little sister? He really should have seen her within a few hours of her birth.
“It had greatly diminished the joy that had once inhibited him”? That makes no sense whatever.. joy doesn’t inhibit people. If you mean the War took away much of Leggy.’s joy, then you mean “the joy that had once dwelled in him”.
Why is elf delivery so painful? Surely they must have worked out a means of pain-free birth, or at least some really good drugs. I know Charlotte’s not really an elf, but still.

Anyway I’m so grateful for the wonderful story. Hopefully there will be more.

Well, I obviously fell off the wagon after I finished KF, but now I’m back and ready to finish Thranduil and Charlotte’s tale!

I loved the intimacy and sweetness in the beginning of this chapter! Perfect! The rest of the chapter was a delight, getting to see more of Herion and then the training with Feren. What a hoot!
