I'm racooncity, or Eve. Or at least some people call me that. Others just go by racoon. My ex-classmates call me Grandma but oh well that shouldn't count--

Okay. So.

I am the writer of The Proposal, and the jerk that hasn't been updating its sequel for a godforsaken length of time. Not to mention Past Memories, too.

I lost my muse.

Never thought I had one, at the beginning, so when the time period between plotbunnies' appearance lengthens, I thought nothing of it.

Now they rarely pop out anymore.

I moved to Beijing, two years ago, away from my three best friends and the world of Twitter and Facebook and the social networks Indonesians usually use. Breaking the firewall was no easy task; the connection was often severed, or it just simply sucked. The only thing I had was Tumblr, which I started frequenting last year.

From then on, I started straying away from Katekyo! Hitman Reborn fandom. School happened to me, life happened to me, and I had no one to anchor me to the fandom anymore. In a year, I lost most of my interest, no matter how much I've tried to hang on (which efforts can be seen in the fics I published on 5/5/2011 for Hibari's birthday). In the second year, I started to move to Hetalia, and resided there for at least half a year until I started going to Sherlock BBC.

I think it was around the time I moved to Hetalia that I stopped going to FFnet and moved to AO3. The 1827 fandom was going pretty slow at that time, if I wasn't mistaken, and it worsened my connection to 1827.

I spent a long time saying sorry to people who sent me inboxes inquiring various things from half a year (or a year) ago, and I really don't know where to start apologizing. I started this whole business of writing fanfictions so that I can hit off the minimum-5,000-words-written for Beta-reading, and yet I completely neglected my goal at the end due to my own circumstances. And for that I apologize to people who have put hopes and trust in me for Beta-reading.

I also want to apologize to people who read my continuing fics. They're currently on hiatus, until I can gather enough of myself back and find either a new muse or get my old muse back in my life. I am sorry for the broken promises, I am sorry for the disappointment I must've caused.

For all my readers, thank you for reading my fics. I thank you, sincerely, for leaving nice and kind reviews no matter how much of a jerk I have been (for not updating and all). Your words often cheer me up, even when I'm not writing, because from there I know that I actually did something for a fandom I used to love so much.
