Good day! Buon giorno! Bonjour! Buenos dias! Guten tag! The name's ChaosandMayhem, but you can call me Chaos. I'm a graduate student who fills her limited free time with fanfics, because why not? I have a B.A. in history, and that tends to show in my work. My personal niches are colonial American politics and Cold War foreign policy, which, admittedly, are incredibly niche interests.

I pride myself on being a connoisseur of garbage fictional characters, especially the aforementioned tragic middle-aged men. In all I'm very chill about faves, although I do stan for King Stannis Baratheon, First of His Name. Ours Is The Fury -- for the night is dark and full of terror.

My favorite thing to do with a story is to start light and eventually work in the heavy stuff. Nothing too heavy, mind, but I have been known to make people cry on occasion.

Above all else I'm a humongous nerd who tends to be pretty irreverent about life, the universe, and everything.
