I'll write (and edit - I'm available for beta-ing!) anything! Unless it's rated M. Kissing and such is about my limit, sorry. I promise to post it on here within a week of receiving it (if it's relatively short), so please send me requests/challenges! Anything you would like to read but can't find/don't have time to write/etc. I will do, no matter how strange, and I will try my hardest! I look forward to hearing from you! Also, I am looking for someone to beta my own works. Not for grammar, though I would appreciate mistakes being pointed out, but more for the content. Is the plot line good, is it clear? Do the characters personalities make sense, are they in character? Does it need more detail, less detail, should the dialogue change? Does the story makes sense? Stuff like that. Thanks! My Characters: (These are characters you will find in my stories that I or my friends made up.) Name: Hitoshi Gender: Male Hair: Red with half of his bangs black Eyes: One is green, the other gray Personality: Hitoshi is very submissive and closed off because of his abusive father. He has shut the world out, until one day he finds a girl stalking him. She forces her way into his life; will she be able to force open his heart? Name: Ayumi Gender: Female Hair: Light brown Eyes: Amber Personality: Ayumi is a complete otaku, or anime fanatic. She sees the world as if it were an anime/manga. (For example, she imagines sweatdrops, angry marks, cat ears, etc.) One day she sees a boy that she thinks looks just like an anime character, so she starts stalking him. When she is uncovered, she instead somehow becomes friends with the boy. A very optimistic, hyperactive girl, she's surprisingly good at assessing situations and figuring things out. (It's from years of reading manga and watching anime.) She also loves dressing up and cosplaying, and won't hesitate at the chance to dress someone else too. MY STORIES ... will be slow to update. I'm sorry, blame my life and school. I really should not be writing so many chapter stories at once. I'll try my best, minna-san! Please critique my writing, it needs it! Also, Jaded Desires is currently on hiatus. I'm going to work on finishing my other chaptered stories first. Party in Tops is also on hiatus indefinitely, and possibly dropped. I feel like the story is kind of dragging on, so I may never pick that one up again and just leave it as it is. If not, I may go back and end it earlier on. We interrupt this profile for an important message to one who has passed on. He will be remembered dearly. OBITUARY FOR THE LATE MR. COMMON SENSE Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as: Knowing when to come in out of the rain; why the early bird gets the worm; Life isn't always fair; and Maybe it was my fault. Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children, are in charge). His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a 6 year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition. Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children. It declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer Calpol, sun lotion, or a band-aid to a student; but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion. Common Sense lost the will to live as the Ten Commandments became contraband; churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims. Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault. Common Sense finally gave up the will to live after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement. Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents, Truth and Trust; his wife, Discretion; his daughter, Responsibility; and his son, Reason. He is survived by his 3 stepbrothers; I Know My Rights, Someone Else Is To Blame, and I'm A Victim. Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone. If you still remember him, pass this on. If not, join the majority and do nothing. A moment of silence. The white man said, "Coloured people aren't allowed here." The black man turned around and stood up. He then said: "Listen sir...when I was born I was Black, when I grew up I was Black, when I'm sick I'm Black, when I go in the sun I'm Black, when I'm cold I'm Black and when I die I will be Black. But you sir, when you're born you're Pink, when you grow up you're White, when you're sick you're Green, when you're in the sun you're Red, when you're cold you're Blue, and when you die you will be Purple. And you have the nerve to call me coloured?" The black man turned around and sat down, and the white man walked away... Explanation Rant: 5/16/11 So I know I basically dropped of the face of the planet for these past several months. I AM SO SORRY. I had a lot of trouble coming up with muse for my chapter fics - for writing anything really. Then, this semester, I had graduation project. (No, I'm not a senior, I'm a junior. It's just the way my school works, we do graduation project junior year.) Now, normally this would not have affected my fanfiction writing all that much. However, I had to go and choose publishing for my topic. My product? A published book. That's right, I tried to write a book to publish. If you haven't heard, it has been scientifically proven through experiments that when you ask someone to be creative it completely ruins their creativity. This is what happened to me; my novel crashed. It did not burn, 'cause I plan to continue it later, but it sucked out whatever creative juices I got for the past five months and still sucked. I was dragging this thing out kicking and screaming. But, that is all over now! Presentations were last week, I passed (I ended up self-publishing an anthology of my poems instead and by self-publish I mean I stitched them by hand (coughthe day of the presentationcough)). I've basically figured out the plot for Tainting Innocence (there are just one or two points I need to work out) and I've gotten started on the next chapter. I also had an idea and started on another CCD fic, but I'll set that aside until I finish TI. As for my other fics: I have ONE MORE WEEK of school (HALLELUJAH) and then it's SUMMER BREAK and I will be writing as much as possible. I'm sorry I'm so terrible at updating; I will be working to improve on that and I hope that you can still enjoy my stories. Gomen nasai to doumo arigato, minna-san! Oh, and I got the third CLAMP School Detectives manga. I freaked out fangirl style. It was ONE DOLLAR and in MINT CONDITION, as in the spine was not even cracked, with a poster inside. You have no idea how happy this made me! :D Update: 12/2/11 AND SUDDENLY IT'S DECEMBER. I've been skulking around reviewing stories for a few weeks, but I haven't gotten any writing done in months. AND SO, A POLL. Decide if Tainting Innocence should be fluffy like canon CLAMP School Detectives, or go down the dark path it started on. |
