A Bit About Me

I have never known anyone to fit into a neatly characterized box – neither do I.

I have been, from a young age, a lover of words. Even now, I find myself enthralled, often in a state of awe by the wonders they create. I'd always toyed with the idea of using words to create something wonderful myself. However, only recently have I had the courage and perseverance to weave enough words together to make cohesive somethings.

But words alone do not hold my heart. I love to get lost in worlds. It is often through words that worlds are created – but they are certainly not the only medium. I find myself equally enthralled by places and characters richly imagined – from television, to animes, to movies – I am a lover of them all :)

To practice writing – and perhaps, as well, practice brief escapism from the stressors of life – I will write here. One Piece is one world of which I have indeed become quite enamored. Don’t be surprised to see it here :)

Current Works

The Bounty

I began writing The Bounty when I found myself with some rare spare time. I have less of that now – but I’m still writing! It is the longest piece of writing I have yet managed to string together, and despite my efforts, it keeps getting longer! I belatedly realized that it could easily have been split into two separate stories, as there are (or will be) two clear climactic heights. But oh well! For now, it will just be long. My goal was to develop the characters and their relationships organically – while they also faced off against some truly terrifying enemies. I hope I have had at least marginal success in this :)

This piece is on a bit of a hiatus, as I'm trying to finish the Bounty first. But as soon as The Bounty is done, this one will start getting updates again.
