Please consider any of my stories that were published prior to 2015 to be written by my previous pen-name, magdalena2122. It's my opinion that my writing has matured quite a bit since my earlier works, and while I did toy with the ideas of either removing my older stories or creating a new account for my more recent ones, I ended up deciding to just change my name and leave it all here. I think that the journey is just as important as the destination, and while I'm not necessarily super proud of all of my older stories, they serve as markers of progress. I don't want to deny where I've been, because it's a path that has led to where I am now, and I am proud of that.

I will probably never finish writing Bound and Gagged, mostly because I started it when I was much younger, and I now feel that it's rather immature, in terms of both style and content. Honestly, it's probably my weakest story, and it blows my mind that it still gets traffic. However, I have thought about trying to revise some of the material into either a series of one-shots or a shorter chaptered fic, so that is an eventual possibility.

At any given time, there's usually a handful of various stories that I'm working on, though I'm trying to make a point not to start uploading anything that isn't already complete, at least in rough form. I do have both work and school in real life, so fanfic can't always take top priority, but I am still writing, however slowly.

I love contradiction, and the stories I both read and write typically reflect that. Sometimes I go dark, sometimes I go light. It just depends on the day. One thing that is ALWAYS consistent is my love of a strong female protagonist. I've never had much patience for passive, simpering fools, and I tend toward portrayals of women who are active participants in their own lives.

The 'Saving Sirius' series is a collection of otherwise unrelated one-shots in which each of the stories explores a different 'what if?' in the life of Sirius Black. They each begin established in canon, but diverge into an alternate universe that is kinder to Sirius' fate. These stories are intentionally left somewhat open-ended, as the purpose of each piece is to serve as a jumping-off point for either future stories, or simply for the imagination of the reader.
