Hello, dear readers! I'm Mere. I've been reading Twilight since the summer of '06, and reading fanfiction for almost as long. I'm more of a reader than a writer, but I occasionally like to try my hand at writing. :)

I love reading and writing backstory for the characters, since Stephenie has said on more than one occasion that she does not plan out every detail of her characters' lives - she did not know, for example, when Jacob's birthday was or how many people Alice had killed. She leaves these things open - which gives us the opportunity, as writers, to explore them.
