It was so heart breaking...

I know, Edward kind of actually deserved it. He should feel guilty for putting Bella through that. He should feel the pain he forced Bella to feel in some misguided attempt at protecting her.

Yes, he meant well. He wanted to keep her from physical harm, but in doing so, he caused her emotional abuse.

So yeah...I know Edward deserved all that he got, but really, his agony and pain at Bella's expense is so acute...I can't help but feel sorry for him. He did a horrible mistake, but now he's attempting to correct it, unlike many people in this world.

I know Edward went through his own meltdown, but he was responsible for what it did to both of them. I'm glad you made him relive those things he had done to Bella.
