![]() Author has written 42 stories for Fullmetal Alchemist, Final Fantasy VIII, Kingdom Hearts, Fruits Basket, Ranma, and SeaQuest. Netta slowly returning! Okay! So my first official entry into the Ranma 1/2 fandom is up and ready! I've always wanted to write for Ranma so if you haven't read the manga yet, check it out. The FFVIII fic currently in the works will most likely be the next thing I post. Netta's in spanish! Much thanks to Laberinto de Cristal for translating After Pie into spanish and posting it. I'm so very honored! bows Thank you for visiting my page. Hmmm...a little about me. I'm 25, female, american, married, an idiot, a realist. I hear the words, short, abrupt, curt, hot-headed, hyper pretty often, they work as good as any in describing me, loathe as I am to admit it. My current obsessions, Hagaren-manga, FFVIII are probably the only ones I will write about. KH, Furuba, Angel Sanctuary, Ranma, and Cowboy Bebop also favorites. I'm up for discussing Wong Kar-Wai or Jeunet movies anytime. Amano, Shy and El Greco paint the images in my head. Pullman, Tad Williams, T.H. White are big influences. Hope that helps. A little help with my writings... Ranma 1/2- As with everything else, I try to stick to the manga canon. Delayed Interruptions now has a second chapter! Kingdom Hearts- I will only write from KH2. Well, that's not true. Currently working on Happy Endings which is just a little bit about the credits of KH2 and Boss Fight: Rinoa which is my speculation about her appearance in KH3. FFVIII- I will always place the characters in different battles based on their SeeD rank and designation. For example, Selphie is a messenger, Zell is a close range support fighter who also knows a lot of random trivia, Irvine is a sharpshooter which leads me to think he has the steadiest nerves, Quistis uses blue magic which leads me to think she is the most adaptive in a fight and she also knows all of the correct SeeD protocols. Rinoa doesn't really have a place in this line-up; I presume that her lack of training makes her reckless in a fight, but still predictable; Squall told her to stay close so I always assume she is one of the first choices in a fight. (Everytime I've played this game Rinoa has been the strongest with Selphie a close second. Usually Squall or Irvine is after that, then Zell and Quistis even with Quistis' ultimate attack.) Couples exposed in the game are the only ones I will write about, no weird stuff. The Wrong Side of the Junction -A look into Rinoa's thoughts while she was forcefully junctioned to Adel. Regen -My take on the world after the defeat of Ultimecia. Fullmetal Alchemist- Currently on hiatus from writing anything FMA related. The manga is really picking up and I don't want to detract from the manga ending as we get it in the US. I've stopped reading, too, just to avoid spoilers. See ya guys when the series is finished! I will always take the manga as canon. No anime-verse ever in my stories. My goal in this fandom is to write about things that most people don't write about. I realize that nearly everyone who reads fanfiction also reads the manga's on-line. I have chosen to only read the mangas that are purchasable at my local bookstore and so am about twenty chapters behind the average reader. I hope my little drabbles inspires anyone who likes them to go back and re-read the mangas, to buy them, to take a magnifying glass to them and see every tiny detail that Arakawa has packed into this world. I find it truly as rich as my own. Every fan has one, an Ed/Win justification or non-justification. I just wanted to post mine as food for thought for anyone curious. In reading the first few mangas, I knew Ed liked her, but love was still kind of a question. I think Ed's love for Winry was proven in Chapter 23, Knocking on Heaven's door. In the flashback sequence where Ed goes through the gate he sees a lot of things. The war in Ishbal, the destruction of Xerxes, the breakdown of human fetal development, mitosis, the development of a transmutation circle, the evolution of man, and proof of the "one is all theory". All of those things are important, however the thing that caught my eye was a chain for Ed's family. The first link is his parents, the second him and Al, the third him and Al a little older with Den, and the last is Winry. I know, it's a little thing, but when Al regains his memories of the gate (Chapter 30, the Truth inside the Armor) he sees everything that Ed sees, except for Winry. That may prove nothing to anyone reading this, but it is my basis for everything. Okay, I'm doing a new thing with the recovery series, there will be a concurrent series accompanying each one called Pages of Progress. The Tedium of the Temporary Trainer , next in the recovery series is coming slowly! Also in the works: When the Dust has Settled is a group of random one-shots about how I hope the manga ends; some pieces may tie in with Letters of Change. Various dedications are listed at the bottom of each fic to the people who encourage and inspire me. Reflections in an Empty House is a group of random one-shots about how Granny Pinako spends her time after Winry leaves for Rush Valley. Manga based and may include manga events. Letters of Change is a group of random documents during the reconstruction of the Amestris government. In no particular order, the story is meant to be gained in bits and pieces with the chapters circling around each other. Conversations with a Kidnapper chronicles Ed's time spent with Major Armstrong before they left the country. I am currently not taking any requests. As always, thank you for reading. |
