![]() Author has written 30 stories for FAKE, Gravitation, Law and Order, Mirage of Blaze, Kizuna, Gundam Wing/AC, House, M.D., Across the Universe, Yu-Gi-Oh, Ninja Turtles, M*A*S*H, Red Dwarf, Chip and Dale's Rescue Rangers, DarkWing Duck, and DuckTales. 5-30-2020: Getting Disney Plus has also reintroduced me to the hilarity that is Darkwing Duck. The show came out barely before I turned 8 and it was part of the Disney Afternoon Line Up. So now at almost 37, I not only get to re-enjoy the comedy, but you also see the very slight adult humor, and even more importantly how Disney took an interesting turn. Single fatherhood. And to an adopted daughter nonetheless. Said daughter also not being your typical Disney creation girl, but rather was the beginning of the message "Girls can do anything!." Gosalyn likes to play sports, enjoy scary movies, get messy and well, be true to herself, just like other girls should. It also brings to light that men can be a single father to a girl without a female counterpart like the Disney movies prior. The relationship between Drake/Darkwing and Gosalyn can be so heartwarming, it did not matter that she wasn't his blood, she was his daughter and he loved her and protected her to the point it can make you ugly cry (not that I have of course ;) ). So yes a Darkwing Duck/Ducktales crossover fanfic is in the works and you may or probably not be surprised at how it goes. I saw the Darkwing Duck episode in the second season of Ducktales btw, Drake is a cutie (though I wished Jim Cummings had voiced him instead of Jim Starling, oh well c'lest vie!") 4-25-2020: I changed profile name from Citrine Rain to Harmony Whisperer. I think it sounds a bit more me and my writing as I try to find a common link or harmony with my stories and characters. New laptop means more fan fiction! Quarantine thanks to Coronavirus means working from home, which also means more fan fiction because no commute!! I just hope the writing fairies keep the ideas flowing. Fiance and I were supposed to get married in June, but said virus made us postpone it. Nothing wrong with that. We have people of all ages coming to our wedding and we did not want it remembered as the time they caught Coronavirus and became horribly sick. I've updated "Nurse in the Wings" and "Complete Me" and hopefully ideas for the others will come to me. I am thinking of adding my Chip-n-Dale Rescue Rangers fan fiction that I am currently working on, but have not published except on DeviantArt and there maybe a Ducktales fan fiction. The new one isn't bad, I'm actually impressed with Webby and Mrs. Beakley. The Ducktales I grew up with both characters were, well, wimpy to say the least. Also, this Scrooge loves his riches, but he also loves adventure more than his 80s predecessor. Also, fiance got me hooked on the late 80s British sci-fi comedy Red Dwarf and the plot cogs have been turning. What can I say, Arnold Rimmer is a jerk, but I can find worth with his character. 4-2-2019: I AM BAACCCKK!! I am going to be slowly updating my current fanfictions as well maybe starting new ones. My current obsessions are The Real Ghostbusters cartoon from the '80s and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles both '80s comics and the early 90s cartoon. I am big Raphael/Ninjara fan if you have read the comics ;) 2018: Year from literal hell, actual hell. I won't get into it. The only good part about it is that fiance and I stuck together through it all and that I got a much better job that required a 4 year degree. Believe me, most people can find a better job without one, I was one of the unlucky few that needed one to get out of retail torture. 2017: I GRADUATED COLLEGE AND GOT MY BACHELOR'S DEGREE!!! BOYFRIEND AND I MOVED INTO OUR OWN APARTMENT!!! BOYFRIEND PROPOSES AND WE ARE ENGAGED!!! :) :) :) 3 3 2016: Updated a few fanfictions, but few and far between because college and working full time took up a lot of time. 10-9-15: John Lennon's 75th birthday. A milestone that he should be here for. So far this year I changed majors as I am now a Sociology major with a minor in History. Respiratory Therapy fell through and was not really my forte as I once thought. Transferred to a 4yr. university with hopefully only 2 more years to go on my Bachelors degree. Moved into my own apartment, have a 2 month old gray tabby kitten named Leila and two gerbils named Lizzie and Monty. Fell back in love with Yu-Gi-Oh and watching the last season while drooling over Pharaoh Yami. Fanfic to come and will most likely be yaoi (probably Yugi and Yami, but depending on this last season I'll decide if I want to throw some Joey and Seto too). No female bashing because as far as I can tell Tea/Anzu has a good heart, is a decent friend, and doesn't give off that obsessive stalker vibe. Mai Valentine shows spirit and strength and also vulnerability. Ishizu shows intelligence and care even in the face of her own personal trouble. Rebecca being the youngest with her playful character that does mature a little (emphasis on a little) along with her superior mind shows that every child desires that one thing, to be a kid..and to love a Yugi. The one liners in this show are also great! Yu-Gi-Oh was one of those shows that had an influence on me when things were a little crazy. I won't divulge as I did in a previous FAKE story, but it kept me grounded on a very chaotic day of my Senior Prom and for that I will always be thankful. 2014: An AMAZING YEAR..that I reported nothing on. Went back to college part time at the nearby community college, saw Ringo Starr AND Paul McCartney in concert in a span of a month. Went to my second NYC Comic-Con as Shezka from Full Metal Alchemist, my boyfriend went as Ed and made an amazing automail arm that Vic Mignona (voice of Ed) doted on and signed! Made Dean's List. 10-27-13: Nothing new to report for this year, except I am still going back and forth between The Beatles craze and that I turn 30 in 2 weeks from today...eeep. Saw the tribute band "The Fab Four" last night, great group, go see them!! Anyway, starting to enjoy the McLennon (John Lennon and Paul McCartney) shipping going on. Do I believe it happened? Who the hell knows? It was the 60s after all! Plus they were really close. Maybe there was a little something going on. I am just glad whether there was or there wasn't some fooling around between them, they George, and Ringo, I believe have (even though John and George aren't here) a wonderful brotherly bond that you don't see nowadays. I am also glad that in the end they did find the loves of their lives, (I am personally a Paul and Linda fan) even if it did take a try or two. ;) Went to my first NYC Comic-Con with my boyfriend cosplaying as Felli from Chrome Shelled Regios. 10-31-12: An old friend or should I say friends have come back into my life. After stumbling upon a picture in Deviant Art, I reconnected with an old love of mine. The Beatles. I didn't realize there was indeed a story board for them even though its under the movie title "Across the Universe" So the plot wheels began turning and I have decided to write a story about the band that is now published (still in progress) called Past Tense. This band was probably what helped keep me sane during my teen years and they came back to me when I really need an escape through the crazy experience that is my life nowadays. Hope you like the story! 04-10-12: Okay Torchwood, stop sucking me in! I am normally not a sci-fi chick, but after hearing so much about it I started watching the show a few months ago. I am just a few episodes away from the end of season 1. Okay yeah...Ianto/Jack for the win! 8-2-11: Just discovered HOUSE M.D. and even more importantly HOUSE fanfics! I have always had such a crush on Robert Sean Leonard (Dr. Wilson) and who doesn't love Hugh Laurie (Dr. House), though its funny to see him go from Stuart Little's kindly dad to Gregory House! I so see the whole House and Wilson "more than bro-mance thing" going on! I'm in the process of now writing a House Fanfic that hopefully all Hilson fans, like myself now, can enjoy! Wonder what they would look like anime style? *ponders* 5-26-10: I have FINALLY come up with a more original penname. I now go by Citrine Rain!!! Thank you!! "She packed her bags and moved to better horizons." A dear friend of mine told me that quote one time. I believe that is me and that is where I stand with my writings. I am always searching for the next idea to write about. The next TV show or anime or cartoon whether old or new that makes me think "if I was there, what would I do, who would I be?" So yes you'll see a lot of original female characters in most (not all) of my stories. It is my imagination running wild. It's taking what I love or loved and making it my own. |
