The Penname

Black Moon White Sun: Such a...unique penname, no? There's actually a bit about me in it. The moon and the sun-both my favorite celestial objects. But what about black and white? Are they my favorite colors? Ah, no! They actually talk about my race. You see, I am half-black, half-white. Interesting, right?

Well, enough of my penname. Time to talk about me.

The Author

My name is Stephanie and I'm fourteen years old. I currently attend 7th grade in a Catholic school. I'm also a somewhat devout Catholic. As such, I'm preparing for Confirmation and will have a bit of limited time to update my stories. On top of that, I have homework and my own life. (I know, surprising.)

Most people call me a 'tomboy'. And I pretty much am. I like to dress in jeans and t-shirts. It's rather strange if you ever see me in a skirt or anything feminine. I also particularly scorn at romance. Except in books. In books, they fit along with the plot of the story.

As some of my readers can see, I like to use song titles as my story title. Why? I love music! I buy a new CD nearly every week and listen to YouTube nearly everyday. I feel that music is a way to express yourself in a way that you usually can't do in everyday language.

Also, I like to write stories of any kind. Pevensie/OC, incest, post-books - anything but slash. I don't like them. I do like OC and incest stories though. But before you start saying that I'm disgraceful and dishonorable, I have never supported and never will support incest in real life. I find it quite disgusting. Plus, it's frowned upon in certain cultures.

Anyway, most people notice that I praise stories. Now, I'm not saying that I praise every story I read because there is no such thing as a perfect story. If you think your story is a work of perfection, it's bound to be awful. There are some stories that I have read that just left me to disgusted to even post a review. I'm not being harsh if I decide to flame a story. You want my opinion so I'll give you it.
