I'm really sorry to have to say this, but I am leaving ffnet. I will be deleting my stories today, October the 26th.

I'm leaving for a multitude of reasons, but the most important one is due to the abuse some of my dearest friends have faced on this site.

I wasn't sure whether or not to call these people out by name, but I feel it is important to do so.

Critics united is the reason for our leaving the site. I will give some of them the benefit of the doubt that they just want the rules to be followed. I would ask these people to consider that rules are a measure of power, not morality. I would ask that you, the potentially reasonable members of CU consider that in trying to enforce these rules, you've aided in keeping rules that should not be in place. You are not the arbiter's of justice. And yet, AND YET the vitriol I have seen come from this group is absolutely unacceptable. You have created an environment where abuse is acceptable and run's rampant in your group. FOR SHAME.

I will be moving over to other sites, mainly AO3. My username will remain the same, and I hope to see my small fanbase come with me.

Fanfiction.net and the mods of this site has failed the people it should be protecting. It has driven away creative authors and those who enjoy fandoms.
