Long have I wandered, searching across the globe for a place of true peace, a sanctuary. I had nearly given up hope, but then, I found it. Here, in this place between the mountains, a place of solace amongst nature's titans, I have found true rest, and live my life happier than I ever have before.

(Final Fantasy XIII Series)

Slightly tall, young and fair-skinned. Has spiky black hair an a single sapphire-blue eye, while the other is covered by a black eye patch, and has a silver crescent-shaped burn mark on the bottom of his forearm. Wears a white T-shirt and black leather trench coat, with black pants and combat boots. Wields a sword known as Indomitus which is five feet long and a foot wide, edged on one side. The handle is wrapped in silver and blue cloth, while on the hilt is a silver crescent moon.

Deiru is best described as a direct young man. He is not afraid to speak his mind, bordering on blunt at times. Nevertheless, he is honest, caring and an incredible battle strategist. He is deeply attached to the other l'Cie (though often annoyed by Snow) and eventually falls in love with Lightning, and she falls in love with him.

Deiru was pulled into Final Fantasy against his will, but has chosen to spend the rest of his life there rather than go home, and has enjoyed his relationship with Lightning. In Final Fantasy XIII-2, he is pulled into Valhalla alongside Lightning, but at her behest goes with Noel and Serah in their journey through time. He is unable to stop Caius's "death" though, and despite his best efforts time itself is dstroyed. Now at the end of days, he must fight alongside Lightning, who has become the Savior. But what is his role? Read to find out.

(Final Fantasy X Series)

In the Final Fantasy X universe, Deiru is a depiected as older, with a scar running along his eye that has the eyepatch. Other than that though, his appearance is mainly unchanged. He is friend of the main character Sofia's father Alexander, who was a former guardian of High Summoner Braska. Alexander gives Deiru the task of protecting his daughter, and does so even after becoming an unsent alongside his friend, Auron. When Sin is finally defeated both he and Auron pass on the to the Farplane.

Uried:

(Final Fantasy XIII Series)

Uried is as tall as Snow and somewhat wider in frame, with all of it being muscle. His skin is bleach white with silver hair and blood-red eyes. His nails are curved into claws and he possessed two inch-long fangs. His outfit changes constantly, but his usual one is a set of armor similar to the one worn by warriors in Valhalla, only ebony black and lined with silver, with snow white feathers attached to the air with openings in the gloves for his claws. During Lightning Returns, his hair turns white and his pupils become slit like a snakes.

Uried is a living incarnation of Chaos that was created by Etro to act as a last resort if Deiru were to be be in danger of dying, possessing him and eliminating the danger. However, he was loathe to leave a body once he possessed it, and finally escaped upon the death of Orphan. When he was subsequently destroyed, he reconstructed himself using the Unseen Chaos and his lived on since. His ambition is to unravel all of reality and watch it sink into Chaos, as well as personally destroy Deiru.

Sofia Ostrovsky

(Final Fantasy X Series)

Just three inches taller than Yuna, and has long pitch-black hair that fell to my knees, with piercing amethyst eyes. As of X-2 her arms are corded with muscle, not a lot but enough for it to be apparent that she works out. Wears a black sleeveless top and black army trousers, complete with black steel-toed boots. On her back is two swords in sheaths crossed in an X, one silver and the other gold.

Sofia was pulled from our world to Spira similar to Tidus from the Dream Zanarkand, but when Tidus fades away she does not. Along the journey Sofia has asked to become Yuna's guardian, and was accepted. The two of them think of each other as "sisters", and Sofia is very protective of Yuna. This has lessened somewhat after Sin's destruction, but she still thinks of herself as Yuna's guardian. How she deals with this and the event of Spira in X-2 are to be seen.

Dexal

(Kingdom Hearts Series)

Only a little shorter than Terra, and nowhere near as "ripped" but still lean. Hair was short and rather spiky, with it being the color of silver. Wears a pair of black pants with a black belt and gold buckle and black leather dress shoe. On top wears a white T-shirt with a pair of black fingerless gloves. Eyes ares blue around the edge but reddened as it came closer, until around his pupils they were a ruby-red.

Dexal was an apprentice alongside his three friend, Terra, Aqua and Ventus. He and Aqua were the only ones to become Masters though. He had lost his memory prior to meeting the trio, but when they journey he slowly regains it. Dexal was an apprentice under Master Xehanort alongside Ventus, but the same incident that caused Vanitas to be created also traumatized Dexal, causing him to develop amnesia. He also discovers to possess the power of twilight, a force that exists between light and darkness and allows him to use both. Despite this power he is unable to save his friends, and develops amnesia again after he and Aqua fight with Xehanort. His memories are restored when he becomes a Heartless, and it is only because Aqua gave him her Stormfell that he retains human form. This guilt pursues him as he seeks to help Sora on his jounrey, beleiving is be a way to redeem himself. At the end of said journey he finally is freed from this guilt, and fades away into the light as Kingdom hearts is sealed away. But it would seem that he is not gone completely.

Jace Salutare

(Final Fantasy VII Series)

Tall, about the same height as Zack plus just a few more inches. His skin shows a slight tan and was toned and muscled, not a lot but enough for it to be seen despite his suit. Over the suit and around his neck is a necklace with a pendant of a pair of metal wings, one white and one black. His hair is a messy brown that reaches the tips of his ears, and his eyes are a sea-blue that speaks of both intelligence and awareness. At his waist is a sheathed sword with a cross hilt and black leather handle, the word "Potentia" inscribed on the sheath.

Jace is a Turk working for Shinra at their behest. His home is Nibelhiem, where was good friends with both Cloud Strife and Tifa Lockhart. Eventually it was discovered that he is able to cast magic without the use of materia, and to find the cause Nibelhiem was placed under quarantine. In exchange for lifting said quarantine, Jace agreed to be taken in Shinra's custody, and now works for them. Due to behavioral issues he is forced to work as a partner with Zack, as part of a SOLDIER-Turk cooperation exercise. Why he possesses these abilities is unknown, but even as he and Zack search for their missing mentor, Angeal, Jace plans to find out.

Yume Soyokaze

(Inuyasha Series)

In human form Yume is a little above mid-height, with definite curves that were accentuated by her athletic build, having gotten from years of being on track and field. Her brown hair comes down to about her shoulders, framing a face with lightly tanned skin and sea-blue eyes that showed a definite calm, which she only failed to keep in the most intense situations. In half-demon form though, the form she retains for most of the series, her skin much of its tan, and only a little remained to keep it from being completely pale. Her hair has lengthened until it reached her waist, and changed from brown to a fiery, bright red. Her eyes are no longer blue, but a smoldering orange like of embers from a bonfire. Her nails had also lengthened, becoming claws that were sharp to a fine point. She also possess a large pair of wings coming from her back, with ruby-red feathers. Yume wears a kimono similar to that of priestess's, only with black pants instead of red.

Yume is the last surviving member of the lost Phoenix Demon Tribe, and possesses their innate ability to manipulate and control pure energy. This is often seen in the form of fire, which several of her attacks and abilities possess. In half-demon form she is far more volatile and easily moved to anger, usually because of either Inuyasha or Miroku. Shippo sees her as a mother figure and calls her such, while she returns the gesture by calling him son. She is good friends with Sango, and seems to have a sort of attachment for Sesshomaru, although she is unsure of her feelings thus far. Naraku desires to have her for the powers she possesses, which he hopes to make his own.

Deiru Otsutsuki

(Naruto Series)

Deiru is slightly taller than Sasuke at genin age, with spiky ash-gray hair slicked back and reaching his shoulders with dark-gray tips. He wears a black T-shirt with a white kanji for "chakra" surrounded by ten white magatama on the back over mesh armor that reached his wrists and black shinobi pants with weapons pouches on either hip. He also wears a black blindold and black sandals. Beneath the blindfold, his eyes are bright red.

Deiru is the biological son of Orochimaru, who was abandoned by his genetic mother at birth due to being a child of rape. When the Shikigami sealed the Kyuubi, it also sensed Kaguya's soul outside of the moon and attempted to seal her into Naruto and his sister as well, only for her to accidentally force herself to be sealed into Deiru instead. Since then, she has chsoen to raise him to be her "true" son and heir to the Otsutsuki, even changing his genetic makeup to be half-identical to hers. His ambition now is to bring an age of peace by combing the Elemental Nations into a single country under one banner and return his "mother" to her full power.

Deiru Ouroboros

(HighSchool DxD Series)

Deiru is a slightly short than Sirzechs and possesses pale skin with black hair pulled back into an immaculate ponytail. His facial features are angular like Sirzechs, but he has Ophis's ears and nose. His eyes are also heterochomic, with the right eye being gray while the left was blue-green. His current attire is that of a Kuoh Academy male student.

Deiru is the child of Sirzechs and Ophis, the latter of whom seduced the former while disguised as Grayfia in order to give birth to child that could help her defeat Great Red. Having been raised by Ophis his entire life, he shows very little outward emotion and appears to grow easily irritated at being interrupted or interacting with others who are highly emotional. His goal is to fulfill the purpose he was born for, which is to force Great Red from the Dimensional Gap and give his mother the silence that she craves. What goals he possesses beyond this, if any, are unknown.
