She's very loyal, kind, and caring to those close to her heart, but doesn't like to put her faith in total strangers. She takes a while to warm up, unless they are friends of Matthew, then she gives them more of a chance to know her. If only to see if they are worthy of his trust or not. Sarah's got a pragmatic and pessimistic mindset from her years training under Vanitas in the ways of Darkness. She also has a secret sadistic side to her that only reveals itself when someone really gets under her skin or does something truly unforgivable. Yet still has hope for a better future and her own redemption for her past mistakes. She likes to tease her friends and her little brother figure, Matthew, when she has a chance to. Sarah is the type of girl to try to get a feel of her opponents before going in for the kill. While trying to keep innocent people out of the line of fire, but has no hesitation or problem taking down anyone who is a threat to those she cares for if needed. She'll go to any lengths to protect those she cares for and even die for them if needed, but the innocent she'll have limits of how much she will risk. Sarah has a fear of snakes due to finding them creepy and perverted ever since an incident during her days training under Vanitas... While having a hatred for arrogance, bullies, perverts, heartless, and anyone disrespecting/threatening/harming others without a good reason. Though she despises anyone who threatens or harms anyone she knows with a passion. She loves to play a violin and to read some good books, though has a dirty secret of liking to read more "adult" books that she keeps hidden for her own secret pleasure. Sarah is also Bi-sexual and finds both male and female bodies beautiful in their own unique way. However, Sarah started out as a young and troubled girl who was kept isolated because of bully trouble. Her father, Dalin, did little to stop it as he told her that she needed to learn to stand up for herself or they'll continue walking all over her. For that is the fate of the weak and only she can change that by choosing to fight. She didn't want to at first and hoped she'd never have to. She sadly never expected anyone to be friends with her or care for her because of those bullies. Those three mean kids wouldn't leave her alone and spread mean rumors about her. For a while wondered if she'd ever have a friend, until she met Matthew. A young boy who wanted to befriend the young girl regardless what she said or what rumors were around about her. After a while she'd come to accept Matthew as her friend. Even treating him like the little brother she never had. Until the bullies tried to pick on her and Matthew got hurt trying to protect her. Sarah not understanding why those mean bullies kept picking on her and frustrated at them for always trying to make her life miserable. Snaps as she sees Matthew getting beaten up as he tried to stand up for her. Awakening the power to use darkness in sheer anger at them hurting the one friend she had and someone she saw as a brother. Chasing off the bullies after hitting each bullies for the pain they dealt to them both. Only she wasn't the only one to notice her power, as Vanitas went to talk to the girl. Seeing potential as a possible back up plan for a candidate for a darkness keyblade wielder. Sarah was hesitant at first, but some coaxing from Vanitas made her accept to inherit the right to wield a keyblade from him. She saw him a few times after that, but they were lessons she needed to go to other locations and eventually other worlds. Upon seeing her progress in his training, Vanitas gives her a Black Wayfinder to keep for impressing him. Secretly he had an alternative purpose for it though, one she wouldn't find out for a few years. Though one day the visits just stopped and she was left to train alone never knowing what happened to Vanitas or realizing Vanitas had been almost killed in battle. Forcing his damage heart and soul to hide in Sarah's heart thanks to the Wayfinder he gave her. Biding his time to recover before trying to train Sarah in the ways of Darkness in hopes of making her useful to his master's plans. Sarah in the meantime had run into more trouble, as while no one physically attacked her or Matthew anymore thanks to her strength and skill. Still felt ridicule, hate, fear, and harsh rumors circling the school about her and at times about Matthew. She wanted it all to stop, but nothing she did worked and her father had dropped on her that they'd move to a different part of town. Which meant a new school for her to train to be a Castle Guard like her old man, but it also meant moving away from her only friend and brother figure. They argued and she ran away after her father got angry at her to the point he hurt her feelings. Leading to her first usage of the Dark Corridors to go to other worlds for a purpose beyond training. Something she could only do twice at most a day back then. Unfortunately it led to her meeting Maleficent and staying with her. Even trusting Maleficent as the witch coaxed the girl into believing they were alike. Eventually even buying Maleficent's word on helping her get rid of her bully problem, without moving away from her dear little brother figure of her life. All she had to do was show Maleficent where her world was and leave everything to Maleficent to fix. It was later Sarah realized the horrible choice she had made when Maleficent unleashed the heartless on the whole town. Sarah flees to her home worried for her father, only to see him die and barely save Matthew from a heartless attacking him. So Sarah goes to Aisha to help her as a joint teacher for Sarah's path in magecraft. Surprising Aisha at Sarah's request, but agreeing to help to better understand how keybearers of darkness use their magic compared to light wielders. Training that shows fruitful progress that impresses even Vanitas, but has a side effect of her left eye being permanently gold instead of it's normal dark blue. During the battle against the Demons invading Altera. People witness the dark magics Sarah casts as she dances around her enemies. Providing deadly magical support to send her foes into oblivion, as her enhanced darkness empowers her keyblade and magic attacks. Rather if it's in arguments or in combat we are always defying each other as a race. One person trying to push their way of thinking or their resolve against the other. People argue because they don't see eye to eye, tend to try to force others to see things their way, but the other party of said argument will try to do the same thing because they do not agree with the others. That is a basic argument, but there are always times when it's not about changing minds, but letting people around you know what your feelings/opinion is and you WON'T let others change WHO YOU ARE. That is also defiance through argument, not accepting their ways of thinking if you deem it wrong and trying to stand your ground on what you believe in, sometimes even trying to make others see things your way. In combat, we defy the reality of being victims. Of seeing someone we want to protect getting hurt and/or worse fates.
