We're dealing with an all star cast now.

Shouta would be lying if he said that he didn't do a breathtaking impression of a pissed off dragon upon hearing that murderous bastard, Kenpachi's name. He did everything but breathe actual honest to fucking god fire as he stomped after Ichigo's- friend, Chad as he walked away from the infirmary.

"Where. Is. He?" He snarled in a lethal sounding growling tone.

His tone must have surprised the boy, because one second he was walking ahead of him a little bit and the next...he was stopped in the middle of the hall and his back was facing the wall opposite where Shouta was standing.

And he was looking at him like he was a venomous snake or something about to take a bite out of him.

In fact, he looked more than a tad bit alarmed, which Shouta felt was good. Since it might make him a tad bit more inclined to tell him where the mother fucker was.

He did not want that man within a hundred miles of his not-daughter!

But since he was already close by- maybe he could con the boy into telling him where he was so that he could drop by and maim his fucking face a little bit. And if he couldn't then Toshinori damned well could.

The man had been just as pissed to hear that the bastard was nearby, if not more so. It was also part of the reason why he hadn't left Ichigo's side just yet.

With her being in her current not-so-healthy state, he would be difficult to pry away from her for any reason. Especially since they both knew that Kenpachi was oddly attached to Ichigo, and would likely head straight for her the first chance he got.

At least with Toshinori present in close vicinity to her, Ichigo would be protected. Because even if Toshinori couldn't beat the man, even in his All Might form...he could certainly give him a real reason to stay the hell away from the girl from now on.

After all, Toshinori was a very deceptive man.

He was deceptively kind. Strong, smart, and so, so very cunning. He also had the fiercely protective temperament that enabled him to focus each one of those characteristics and made him more than just a little bit dangerous.

So if Kenpachi went for Ichigo; Toshinori would meet him half way and fuck his shit up.

Shouta was so pissed about the man being present near the camp, his not-daughter and the rest of his students that he nearly missed the boy finally responding to his question with a careful sounding, "He's won't be coming here."

Shouta cocked his head, wondering if he had even heard the boy right and then opened his mouth to say something when the boy cut him off with a wave of his hand and simply said, "He knows what will happen to him if he come's here and upset's Ichigo by hurting someone. Aside from that, there is myself and at least two others that he will listen to if he steps out of line. And those others are currently here as well. So try not to worry so much about him. He won't cause any issues."

"He better stay far, far away from my daughter or else!" Shouta growled out angrily, not really realizing what he'd just said. Though the weird look that the boy gave him should have clued him in.

The boy's expression went from blank to oddly pleased in zero point two seconds flat as he assured him, "He won't do anything. He won't even come near the camp. I promise."

Shouta grumbled as he slowly felt his ire melting away before then turning his attention to the task at hand. The one that he had yet to really get any information on.

"What is this threat that Ichigo spoke about?"

"I'll tell you," Chad said softly. "But it would be best to round up every teacher and student present. There's no point in telling the adults and not informing any of the kids. Especially when you're going to need extra eyes and ears."

He tilted his head a little bit as he considered the boy's words before finally huffing and saying, "I'll go get everyone together then."

"You'll need to get your blond friend too."

Shouta snorted. "No way. I can inform him of what is going on once I know everything. Until then, he stays with Ichigo."

"Alright." Chad said, feeling secretly pleased that his friend had found another family for herself. The dark haired man seemed like he really cared about her and her well being. And the blond guy with the huge muscles seemed to be attached to her too.

This is good. Maybe we can get them to help us keep an eye on Ichigo so that the Central forty six won't be able to touch her.

"Toshinori?" Ichigo said his name very softly as she laid there. Toshi reached out and smoothed some of her damp hair away from her face, noting in relief, that her color was getting better and better by the moment. Her skin felt a tad bit less feverish too.

"Yes." He said absently, wondering what it was that she was staying awake to say.

"I'm sorry that I haven't been able to heal you again lately."

His blue eyes flickered to her face for a moment as he tried to breathe around the odd lump forming in his throat. Sweet girl. Of course she would apologize for that. He thought to himself thinking that her apology was utterly unneeded. It wasn't her fault that she kept getting into situations that hurt her.

She was sort of like both young Midoriya and Bakugo. She was just a trouble magnet.

"Don't worry about it. I know that you can't control everything that happens to you."

"I should try harder."

"Hn? How so?" He asked curiously, wondering what she meant.

"I dunno. I just should." She said in a drowsy tone, her eyes drooping closed a little bit as she reached out and grabbed one of his hands and muttered something that sounded suspiciously like, "Maybe I can try a little bit." around the same time that he felt that vaguely familiar sensation of warmth that he'd gotten the day that she'd healed his lung.

Feeling a sliver of fear shoot through him, because he had no idea what her attempting to heal him in her current state would even do to her- and he was getting visions of her dying and him having to explain to Shouta why she was dead. And that shit wasn't ending well- he tried to yank his hand away from her grasp as his eyes went to her face again.

"I-Ichigo-" He tried to jerk his hand free of her grasp again and was a tad bit alarmed to find that it slid from her hand quite easily this time. So much so that he actually staggered back away from her a little bit.

He stood there for a moment trying to calm himself down before then quickly moving back to the bed and checking on her. All while muttering some very unflattering things about her being a foolish child.

She was asleep now. Her pulse was steady, her breathing unhindered... So she didn't seem to hear him any, which was good. Because if she had he would have expected her to sit up and slap the hell out of him for saying such things about her.

Once he was sure that she was just asleep and not in some sort of a coma or something, he breathed a sigh of relief and slowly moved back from her a few steps before looking down at his hand. Or more specifically the one that she's grabbed a hold of and wondered just what the hell she had done.

He took several hesitant moments to lift up his shirt and check his scar. Noting that it did look a little bit better than it had previously. It was faded a little bit more. The depth was shallower that was for sure.

But there was something else. Something slightly different that he couldn't quite sense all that well.

It reminded him somewhat of his quirk, dying as it was. The only difference about the feeling was that it was significantly stronger than the steadily dying embers of One for All. He felt...stronger?

Maybe it was a trick of his mind. Yeah, that must be it. He thought uneasily to himself, deciding that there was no way that Ichigo could have augmented him further. It just wasn't logically possible.

"Thank fuck." Kisuke muttered as he visibly slumped against the tree that he'd been leaning against, his eyes were closed, and his worried frown lightened ever so slightly as his eyes flickered over to Rukia. She looked less tense than she had been before.

Obviously noting that someone had stabilized Ichigo before she could tear herself to pieces.

The relief that the two felt as another couple of her anchor's was instantaneous. Overwhelmingly so.

"It feels like Chad got to her."

"Good," Kisuke said almost curtly before tacking on. "I'd hate to have to beat that boy black and blue for letting her suffer."

"I don't think he meant to let her go on for long like that." Rukia said, trying to reason with him.

"I'm sure that he didn't." Kisuke said with a slight snort.

He knew that he was being unfair to Chad. After all, he had gone to make sure that Ichigo was okay to begin with. To appraise her of the current situation and protect her. He also knew that there was a lot of powerful people present in Ichigo's general vicinity.

Many of whom were kids younger than Chad.

So it was just a tad bit understandable if the boy decided to try approaching peacefully. And even more understandable if he was taken out. He did have a terrible habit of not defending himself when he was attacked by those weaker than he was.

Still... If Ichigo had let her power go just a little bit longer- there might not have been anything left of her to protect in the first place. And that pissed Kisuke off.

Especially since both kids knew better.

"When will Kon be here?" Rukia asked all of a sudden. Kisuke perked up automatically at the mention of the mod-soul.

"He should be arriving soon. He's just...trying to work the kinks out on his new body."

"So you actually made him a gigai?" Rukia asked, sounding just a little bit surprised. She really shouldn't be. Kon's original plush body had been destroyed when Ichigo's home had been burned down. And the only reason that Kon had survived at all was because of his pill form.

It had been resistant to the heat and smoke.

Ichigo had gone to find him and save him when she had found out about her home being on fire. She had even hurt her shoulder and her feet thanks to the flames and shattered glass. But she hadn't been able to find him in his pill form otherwise he would have been with her from the beginning.

Kon had been upset with her at first for not finding him. In her defense though, she had been more than a tad bit distraught at the time and hadn't thought to try sensing him any.

Things had reached a point where Kisuke had gotten irked at the mod-soul for bad mouthing his friend and taken him out to the Kurosaki family's burial plot where he'd shown Kon the little grave and marker that Ichigo had made for him before she had left town.

Kon had nearly cried himself sick with guilt after that for thinking that she'd just left him without trying to find him.

And to be honest, part of his driving reason for wanting a new gigai was so that he could stay close to Ichigo in a human-esque form. Though the form he'd chosen for himself had been pleasantly surprising to the genius.

Who knew that seeing a grave maerk labeling him as her 'brother' would spur such an reaction from him. Still...Kisuke couldn't say that he was displeased by how well Kon had taken to his gigai's customized state.

He'd adopted a masculine form of Ichigo herself. With the same height and slightly bulkier build. He looked a tad bit older than Ichigo though, maybe by a year or two. And his hair and eyes were slightly different too.

Still, he looked good.

And at present was learning how to appropriately handle his new form before he showed up.

"We should head to the camp soon." Rukia finally said after a moment or so.

"You can go ahead if you like. I'm going to hang around here until Yoruichi and Ikkaku return from their assigned tasks."

"You're going to stay here to patch Renji up when Ikkaku brings him back." Rukia said with a slight quirk of her lips. Kisuke rolled his eyes at her and muttered something along the lines of 'god save me from idiots'. Causing her to laugh as she vanished.
