Hello everyone!

Here's ShrapnelGirl, nice to meet you. I'm currently a student, living in Iceland. I'm a major linguistics nerd and I love learning about other cultures and countries - figures that my favorite fandom is Hetalia! I mostly just read and write Hetalia fanfics. I write stories that revolve around Iceland, partially because I know the most about his culture (me being Icelandic and all) and also because I feel the most comfortable writing him. He's a pretty small character in the original Hetalia universe so I feel I can get away with writing him very different from the original.

I am Iceland (Complete) - A oneshot about Iceland's settlement. Mostly historically correct and with a fluffy brotherly IceNor ending, this story is my first piece of fanfiction ever. Spellbound (Ongoing) - My most ambitious fanfic to date. The story revolves around Iceland, who has been cursed by an elven queen and now turns into his evil alter ego Laki every full moon. The first few chapters of the story are set in the 19th century, but the main storyline happens in the mid 1940's and later. This story has dark!Iceland in it, human!Puffin, all eight Nordics (the usual 5 plus Greenland, Åland and the Faeroe Islands) as well as a plethora of other nations. Also, an OC of one of my readers makes an appearance (the prize of a competition I held about the name of the elven queen. Read the story to find out what name won).
