I'm not dead! I've just been busy with college. I was an idiot and thought I could graduate in two and a half years, so I signed up for more classes than any sane person would, and I've been paying for it ever since, lol. I'll still be able to graduate early, but just in three years instead of the usual four. Thankfully, summer is coming and I will have time to do something other than study then.

My hobbies are writing, reading, watching anime and other TV shows, swimming, cooking, and sewing, but that's not as domestic as it probably sounds. Think more along the lines of designing my own jackets and shirts in steampunk style, or altering old clothes into steampunk style, because that's how I like them to look, and it's so much cheaper to do it myself than to buy them like that.

What I Read:

Steampunk fiction is my favorite. Did my name give that away, lol? I love lots of stuff in that genre from Full Metal Alchemist to The Golden Compass. That said, I do not approve of the publishing industry's recent attempts to make it mainstream. You can't just write a crappy romance novel and throw in a few random steampunk elements because you think it's cool and call it steampunk fiction. The elements have to be an integral part of the story, so much so that trying to remove them would completely change the entire story, its look, its feel, and its plot because you'd need to rework all the technology.

Other than that, I like most fantasy and science fiction. Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Mortal Instruments, Alex Flinn's books, and many, many others. I really don't have time to name them all now. I also like lots of different animes and mangas.
