First it was a simple matter of concern. But reality becomes much more haunting. With each discovery, the family's worst nightmares unfolds before them.

When Mikey is reprimanded for something he can't help, he thinks he is unloved. (Ugh...Sorry. The turtle takes things personally.)

Leonardo struggles with one of his ninja lessons, and acts out in a way that hurts his youngest brother and cause Leo to learn another lesson .the hard way.

Splinter knew he shouldn't be, but he felt ashamed. His sons depended on him to be strong, to be their rock and assure them that everything was fine. But here he was, letting his baby boy wipe away his tears.

Fearing the consequences of his mistake, Mikey naturally scrambles to fix the problem before a certain brother finds out. After all, in Michelangelo's case, the truth very well might hurt when it's spoken at the end of a bō staff.
