![]() Author has written 2 stories for Gone with the Wind. "I do not write with ease, nor am I ever pleased with anything I write. And so I rewrite." Margaret Mitchell I fell in love with Gone With the Wind three decades ago when it captured my heart. The love affair has never waned. I've always believed that Scarlett and Rhett reunite eventually. Rhett was heartbroken and depressed after Bonnie's death, but I think that he was still very much in love with Scarlett. Any other man would have given up much sooner. No matter what Rhett may say in that final speech, all he seeks and has for years, is in, with and because of Scarlett. In time Scarlett and Rhett would find their way back to each other. I was drawn to this site years ago, searching for a conclusion to this masterpiece, which I have discovered. For the longest time, I was only an avid reader of fanfiction, and while I've written these stories for my pleasure, I hope others enjoy them as well. If you've come this far, please take a look at my stories. Reviews and PMs are always welcomed. Happy reading! July 2020 Update: A one-shot, tentatively titled ”Another Lifetime” is almost ready to share. A medium-length “what if” story entitled “A Wild, Man Night” is in the early phases of writing. A second ”what-if” story tentatively named ”Caught By Her Charms” is currently being outlined and researched. And hopefully, a holiday idea I've been playing around with for a while will finally find it's way on paper...or a laptop screen sometime near Christmas. Now I need to commit to devoting myself to one of these ideas. Too many ideas...not enough time! I have to stop thinking about GWtW before bed ;) |
