| romabeachgirl chapter 12 . 7/25 Wow! Good for AW - he finally grew a backbone. I'm glad he told Melly the truth. I'm still uncertain of this in canon. But the line about not lying to the one's you love might have been the best words out of AW's mouth in both canon and fanfiction. Well done! I love the ending and thought it fit the story nicely. | romabeachgirl chapter 11 . 7/25 Poor Scarlett! Her head must be spinning with all this new information (some of which she should have figured out for herself long ago if she wasn't Scarlett lol). Rhett's clearly got issues if he thinks he was being clear with Scarlett all those years ago. It's actually funny and sad that Belle and his mother have to go in and try to explain all of this to Scarlett. Belle either cares for Scarlett not feels guilty enough to come clean. Don't even get me started on Eleanor...Why is there only one chapter left? I want more of this story! |

| romabeachgirl chapter 9 . 7/23 Short but revealing chapter. Ruth's reaction to Scarlett's behavior is what Scarlett needed all along. There is no doubt in my mind that Scarlett (both in the novel and this story) is a survivor and a hustler, but Ruth showed her that there are limits to what you can do and how one should act. The end does not justify the means. I wish someone had been able to successfully do this in canon. |
