Author has written 3 stories for Ranma, and Powerpuff Girls. As an aspiring author, I admit I gained my first motivational inclination to write from, yes, you guessed right, fanfiction. I think possessing the ability to take the bases of someone else's plot and turn it into something completely new - something you want it to be - is an incredible skill and an excellent way to practice for an upcoming write. Thus, even though I began this Fanfiction account when I was no more than 9 years old, I still continue to write Fanfictions in my college years. Yes, I am a college student. With that denoted, I think it's due time for me to address the issues of updating. We here all know the feeling. You start reading a good fanfiction; the plot is building exceptionally and the suspense thickens steadily. As you scroll to click to the next chapter where everything will hopefully be revealed, you discover that the next chapter has yet to be uploaded. Holding your breath, you scroll back to the top to look for the last update date. You sigh, resigned. The last update was 3 years ago. As a college student, my priorities range from writing 5 page essays in one night due to procrastination, to worrying about if I have enough money to buy myself lunch on my long commuting days. As you can see, writing fanfiction can get a little lost in the sauce every now and then. What does that mean? I will update my stories. I have too many ideas to just abandon them. But the time frames between my updates may vary immensely. It can go from month to month, or from year to year. This is also due to the fact that I am currently in the process of writing my own original book as well. But I will update as soon as possible. I'm making it a habit to start the proceeding chapter before posting the current one, just so I am always one step ahead of myself. If I am deeply invested in the story, you can expect quicker updates and I tend to express that in my author's notes. And most of all, I plan to be successful. I will prevail as an author. If you are an aspiring writer, I recommend you keep a similar attitude and you will not be able to fail. Thank you for your time and patience. Other things about me: I like to laugh, eat, daydream, and sleep. I occasionally like to draw. I hate ignorance. (So far) you can expect to see stories pertaining to: Ranma 1/2 and things I don't have the energy to continue listing right now. Thank you for scrolling past this long and boring profile, though. This is the end of the tour. |
