   maembe13 chapter 1 . 7/11 I loved the timing for this story and how you wove in Winter Soldier into this. The friendship between Steve, Datcy, and Jane was precious. I liked the "offering of cups" idea as well as Loki's process dealing with his mothers death. New Orleans gave a fun back drop to play in. i really appreciated your descriptions of post-Katrina struggles and what life is like in this beautiful city. Your explanation of mythological archetypes was a unique, fun one-with all the manifestations of tricksters out to play. Darcy's journey with both her mother and her ideas of being a mother/woman was one I wish she could have resolved more. |

I love that Thor cares about Loki though and the fact that Loki is actually 100% right about God/Human relationships. Odin didn't want Thor to be with Jane because she was human and Loki didn't want Thor to be with Jane because he doesn't want Thor to get hurt. I can really get behind that! I just love our Norse Bros! And I feel you Darcy, the struggles in life are hard to deal with. |
