PERSONAL THOUGHTS

Everyone on the damn planet says to not conform and be yourself and blah blah blah. I say BULLSHIT! In this world, I believe that you will, more often than you think, do something you don't want to or NOT do something you DO want to, just because of the people it will affect or what other people say. Sure, in some cases you can't control it, that I understand better than anyone, see my life story. But there are some things you CAN control, and I for one, want to make my life good where I can. That's why I don't have a normal life. I'm weird, strange, odd, a freak, abnormal, anything you wanna call it. But ya know what? I'm not even happy. I'm not a person that will say: I do what I want, when I want, fuck everybody else. No, way, way, way, way way, HELL no. I'm the ghost girl, the doormat, the wallflower, the one nobody quite knows what to do with. I've been used from early on in my life, by many people. Sometimes I honestly feel like a heartless puppet, doomed to be a waste in this life. I'm really selfish, deep down, and in my situation I can't be. By LAW I'm subjugated to a mentally unstable psychopath and a lonely rock, not to mention surrounded by two kids that I feel sorry for and I feel sorry for how they were raised; and the only one in family that could help me is too close to the danger to even try. My light is internet, I'm addicted. It's an escape, more than most people understand. So few people make me feel good it's sad. The worst part is? They're almost all online friends. I love them dearly and wish more than anything that I could be with at least one of them, if not everyone. One day, maybe, yeah, I will realize that family is the most important and yadda, but for now I'm an emotionally wrecked teenage girl that wants anything but what she has. I feel like crap now, ranting like this never helps me, but it's out for all the world to see. And the funny thing is I don't even feel like I've scratched the surface of what I feel. So, more or less, my life sucks and I would very much like out, I can't wait til I'm eighteen (one more year, just one more!), and can G. T. F. O. of here.

1) Being gay is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, liposuction and air conditioning.
2) Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.
3) Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.
4) Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.
5) Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Brittany Spears' 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.
6) Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs more children.
7) Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children. (So where did the gay people come from...)
8) Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That's why we have only one religion in America.
9) Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That's why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.
10) Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven't adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans...
