![]() Author has written 13 stories for My Little Pony, Transformers/Beast Wars, and Toy Story. I was designed for an incredibly niche market, and my stories are as well. I aspire to be an actor later on in life, or to show run my own animated shows on television. Or whatever people watch stuff on by that point. My musical taste mostly consists of those lofi-chillhop playlists on Youtube, jazz/swing, comedy, and Broadway. I'm on DeviantArt as ToysnToonsguy. And like, check my stories to see which ones are on hiatus. Cause a bunch of them are. Now for some shiza about my (Major) OCs... MLP Chuck Murphy/Chuck Chipper Quick with a joke and to charge you for a cigar, then light it for you obviously. On the outside, Chuck is a red coated earth pony with a sleek black bow tie, curly auburn mane and tail to boot. However, don't let his cool, care free attitude fool you. Deep down, he's as neurotic and anxious as they come. Luckily he's got his friend Cheese Sandwich to remind him to loosen up, his wife, Element of Laughter, Pinkie Pie to do the same, and his head waiter Quibble Pants and piano player Ivory Keys (more on her later) to knock him down a peg when he gets too cocky. Cutie mark: Microphone Likes: Alcohol, cigars, comedy, jazz music, peace and quiet, and self deprecation. Dislikes: Being nagged at, taking initiative, democracy, hierarchy, and monarchy. Author's words on Chuck: He's not over powered (or powered at all), he has a lot of people who either dislike him or took time before they liked him, he's incredibly flawed, and his accomplishments are (generally) realistic. A realistic (and a little cynical) take on self insert stories that generally do the complete opposite of the cynically realistic Chuck. A rarely seen thing is a SI where the character is a regular guy reacting to the outlandish world around him. It works on many levels, depth, comedy, even outright anger. I roll with him kind of being a realistic satire because I've found it works really well. Sunny Side School age friend of Pinkie Pie and proprietor of Sunny Side's All Night Diner, Sunny is blunt, crude, and brutally honest. Well, she believes she's brutally honest. Most others (Chuck especially) see her more as blunt, crude, and rude. Sunny Side can tell pretty much all there is to know about someone the moment she lays eyes on them. Both a blessing and a curse sometimes. Sunny Side is an earth pony mare with a light peach coat with an apron she seemingly always wears, a blonde wavy mane and tail with a tall beehive do in her mane. Cutie Mark: A spatula Likes: Oddity, Pinkie Pie, cooking, sarcasm, seeing Chuck cry. Dislikes: Jacks Marbles, Chuck, any stallion who's ever laid eyes on Pinkie Pie, and cilantro. Author's words on Sunny Side: Like a lot of OCs that have made their way into the supporting cast, Sunny Side was just meant to be a one off character for a scene. However, between my own interest and liking for writing her part, the ideas that just kept flowing into my head for her, and the fact she's the favorite OC of one of my most loyal readers (and best friends) practically guaranteed her a spot in future appearances. Ivory Keys Get tough or die were pretty much Ivory Keys' only options growing up, and she chose to get tough. A victim of abandonment, abuse, and nearly rape, Ivory Keys learned to deal with her woes and sorrows in music. Having seen nearly all of Equestria and never finding a place to call home, she was sure she'd be a drifter her whole life. Until one day a hoof of friendship was extended to her by the swing singing bar tending crooner Chuck, and she settled down in Ponyville as the piano player for Chuck's Tavern and eventually even falling in love with a certain stallion waiting that tavern.Appearance wise, Ivory is an earth pony mare with an off white coat, black neck tie, and a black and white striped mane. Cutie Mark: Piano keys surrounded by three music notes Likes: Piano playing, somber music, peace and quiet, coffee, and the ordinary. Dislikes: Upbeat music, hyperactivity, and the unordinary. Author's words on Ivory Keys: The first non-SI OC that was written in to have a larger role, Ivory was what happened when I decided to write a strong character with a lot of tough experiences under her belt and one hell of a talent. Her backstory was an interesting thing to write, as it was just supposed to be the most horrible thing anyone would have to go through, to really convey to the reader how tough she is and how she became that way. Can I say it worked out? I dunno. But I like her around, so she's not going anywhere anytime soon. Sugar Plum Adopted daughter of Chuck and Pinkie Pie, Sugar Plum is a unicorn filly with a peach colored coat of fur and wavy light purple man and tail with black framed glasses. Timid and shy when you first meet her but is overall very sweet and kind. Cutie Mark: N/A Likes: Mr. Stuffly, being babysat by Ivory and Cheese Sandwich, Chuck's pop culture pop quizzes. Dislikes: Lying, being left alone, having anxiety. Author's words on Sugar Plum: I wanted, with Sugar Plum, to make the sweetest little thing one could imagine. Probably the closest to a Mary Sue I have, just considering how sweet, cute, and occasionally unrealistically wise she can be. Of course she's not perfect, but of all the ENC cast she's probably the closest to it. Oddity Trinkets An eccentric mare with a past nopony is a hundred percent sure of, Oddity is a kind and helpful shop-keep who sells objects and knick knacks from across the globe. Of course, she's not always on everyone's good side, but we all make mistakes. Oddity is a unicorn mare with a pink coat, a brown mane, and thick red glasses and a brown and yellow scarf she wears year round. Cutie Mark: Maneki-neko Likes: Sunny Side, Collecting, travelling. Dislikes: Bullying. Author's words on Oddity Trinkets: Of all the intentionally one-off characters, I think Oddity is the most glaringly obvious. After all she had two appearances in the older days, and then long after everyone had forgotten her, she suddenly pops up in the story again, and ready to ruin a marriage at that. But that's what happens with ideas, sometimes they just pop up out of the blue. And I'm sure everything involving her reappearance was glaringly out of the blue, but alas, she's here, she's queer, and she doesn't want anymore bears. (I'm sure that reference went over everyone's head). I wanted to write a chapter where she tries to sell essential oils and annoys everyone to the point of practically running her out of town, and I may still. Sourdough Sandwich Wealthy Uncle of Cheese Sandwich, Sourdough is an elderly blue unicorn stallion with an eccentric personality. He's about as modest as you'd expect a millionaire to act, but he still has moments of kindness, especially in regards to his nephew's family. Cutie Mark: Sourdough loaf Likes: Money, cigars, jazz music, Cheese Sandwich, Ivory Keys Dislikes: Charity, losing Author's words on Sourdough Sandwich: Sourdough is essentially a combination of Mr. Fischoeder from Bob's Burgers, and Mr. Nezzer from the Veggie Tales series, at least those are the two I keep in mind when I write his scenes, and usually I switch between his voice sounding like either one. But his voice is probably more like Kevin Kline (Mr. Fischoeder), cause damn I love Kevin Kline. Transformers Treadsmoke Treadsmoke is an outlier comedian who used his ability to aid Optimus Prime and the Autobots when Cybertron was faced with war. What is the ability? Treadsmoke has the ability to manipulate his build, paint job, and voice to any Cybertronian he knows for up to fifteen minutes, a trick that pays off as well in espionage as it did comedy. When not using his ability, Treadsmoke is a SUV build Autobot car with a primarily blue paint job with red on his helm and, for lack of a better word, crotch. On Earth, Treadsmoke becomes an old Chevy van that's been covered in bodywork. Ability: Manipulation of physical appearance and voice for up to fifteen minutes. Weapons: Smokestacks from vehicle mode detach to become maces for melee weapons. Seen in: Trailbreaker and Windcharger Bite Off More Than They Can Chew (G1), Transformers Prime Season Four (Prime... obviously), Transform and Roll Out! (AU). |
