I'm a former Yankee now Southern gal, working full time as a mom and part time as a teacher and an events coordinator, and during downtime at the store, I steal Rowling's characters and universe and turn it into something that I think should have happened.

I usually read Harry Potter fanfiction, and I enjoy a story that's well written, creative, and intriguing. I enjoy political conflicts in the story, and light on the fluff as well. My favorite character (if you couldn't tell by my favorites list) is Severus Snape. Whether it is with Lily Evans, Hermione Granger, or a well written new character, I'm open to suggestions. I also like stories that stay true to what Rowling had published. Disregarding character deaths, AU, or OOC is not my cup of tea. But if you convince me it's worth my time, I will read it.

My current story, 'The Time Turning Elixir' follows along those guidelines. It begins a few months after the fall of Voldemort, where Hermione begins to pick up the pieces after the war, but she can't shake the fact she had mistrusted her Potions Professor for so long. She does the unthinkable, and goes back in time to try and guide him on the right path. However, the twists and turns she experiences in her journey, along with the major changes in her current era is nothing she had accounted for.

5/24/2018: It's been 2.5 years since my last profile update. Here's what happened: New job; pregnancy; miscarriage; immediate new pregnancy; massive paranoia about having another miscarriage; gestational diabetes; induction; new baby; working with a new baby; dropping off baby while working two jobs; baby turns one; ready to write.

I'll add a disclaimer at the end of TTE, but I'm going to be beginning my second fiction -- The Altered Years -- the years following Hermione's disappearance, and the reunion between she and her former love, except she has no recollection of their relationship. Should be fun!
