Hello.

I am the brain behind theobjectlesson. I started writing fanfiction when I was 13, and i daresay most of it was terrible. I like to think I've improved.

So far, I have dabbled in Harry Potter, Teen Titans, Lord of the Rings, Wicked, The Crucible, and Pirates of the Caribbean as far as writing fanfiction goes, though I focus almost completely on the first two, and more recently, just the Harry Potter Books. I cannot stand Lord of the Rings fanfiction, no offense to any who may write it, because I have yet to meet a writer who can match the literary prowess of Tolkien, may he rest in peace.

I find Harry Potter ideal for fan work because the only character with any development to speak of is Harry, and he barely reaches the third dimension for character depth. Therefore, Rowling's writing leaves plenty of room for us to elaborate on her numerous other characters. I'd thank her if I believed she did that on purpose. Or if she re-wrote the 6th book for me.

I do write my own fiction, and have dreams of a novel, though my motivation is shakey at best. I have also been known to do requests, and I believe my email address is listed above. Feel free to ask if you enjoy my writing to want a specific piece done. I can't make any promises, but if you catch me in the right mood for what you're asking, I'll definitely try to take it on.
