![]() Author has written 25 stories for Kingdom Keepers, Austin & Ally, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Doctor Who, Sherlock, Star Wars, and WordGirl. It's time to mess with my profile again! Sorry I haven't been writing lately, everyone. When life hands you things to do, you just ... kind of have to do them. How I came to be: Well, it was a normal day sometime in summer 2013, and I was obsessed with a submarine pairing from Disney's Hunchback of Notre Dame. (Don't ask what the pairing was, just understand that you don't want to know.) I was looking up pictures of this pairing, and while I was typing, one of the results included "fanfiction". I had heard the term before from the show Jessie and was curious about it, so I decided to look it up. That people wrote stories about their favorite characters from their favorite shows was an interesting concept to me. I decided to try it out with my favorite book series at the time, Kingdom Keepers. My first fanfic was inspired by watching some kids at my youth group play ping-pong. I convinced my mum to let me make an account and post the story. Turned out people thought I was half-decent at writing, to my surprise. Since that day, I have continued to write. I have written for Austin & Ally, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Doctor Who, Sherlock, and Wordgirl. I have made many friends here, including TheDoctorCT -21-0408, LoveAnisoka, and CC-2224 Commander Cody, and met my sister katierosefun. I have shared my dreams here and gotten my heart broken here. I have laughed and I have cried. And I believe I have become a better writer. So that's how I came to be. 'Ello, peoples of the earth! I'm MusicKeeper, an aspiring writer like most of you. (And when I say most, I mean the awesome people who aren't stalkers or flamers.) I'm a sucker for fluff and hurt/comfort stories. I typically write in the past tense and from a neutral POV, but I have been experimenting with the present tense. Although I have written multichapter stories before, I tend to write a bunch of short stories. And as you can see, I like to figure out different ways to string my sentences together so my style doesn't seem choppy. I'm also an actress. Unfortunately, I don't think you're going to see me on the big screen anytime soon. For now, I like to help out with plays and musicals at my church. I've been at my current church for a little over a year now, and there I've played Katie in The Christmas Post, a narrator in And the Word Became Flesh, and Emma in Four Tickets to Christmas. While we're on the subject, yes, I am a Christian and dedicated to serving God in any way possible. I adore my current church and have made quite a few close friends there. My friend Jessica even joined FF under the name LaureaTari. Anyway, I think my youth group is the best one in the entire world. We have a ton of fun together all year round, with bonfires and dodgeball tournaments in the fall, a Christmas party and caroling in the winter, and laser tag, fro-yo, and camp in the summer. Except now I need to start weaning myself off these wonderful things because I go to college now, and apparently that means I'm an adult, and now I supposedly have no time for lovely things because I'm supposedly too busy doing adult things. Which I'm not actually doing. :) YES, I am out of community college and finally made it to a four-year school (university as some of my Aussie and European friends here may call it)!!! I'm now studying at James Madison University, hoping to major in music with a concentration in performance. If somebody happens to go to this wonderful school, please hit me up through PM or something. So far, I've found only one other person here who writes fanfiction, and I don't want to ask around because some may think I'm crazy. And now, for two of the most prominent parts of my life. Read at your own risk. I LOVE to read. Really, though. I've liked to read since I was a little girl. And I'm not saying that just because I read the Hunger Games or Harry Potter (I've actually read neither), although I ADORED The Fault in Our Stars and Me Before You. No, I like the books that nobody ever hears about. I like books such as Out of the Easy, Persepolis, or Suite Scarlett. I do like more well-known books, too, like Fangirl and The Perks of Being a Wallflower. I also like book series such as The Selection and Kingdom Keepers (both of which I firmly believe should be made into movies). I love Star Wars novels; Kenobi and A New Dawnby John Jackson Miller, Bloodline and Leia: Princess of Alderaan by Claudia Gray, and Ahsoka by E.K. Johnston are my favorites in that category. And, of course, I adore reading fanfiction. My favorite authors are katierosefun, iamtheillusion, and claraoswald. I would go insane without music. I'm serious. If someone were to take music away from me -- CDs, Pandora, Spotify, instruments, radio, everything -- I'd become a listless, lifeless waste of space. I've been told someone can't pass me in the halls without hearing me singing. And if I'm not singing, someone ends up asking me, "What's wrong?" Typically, that's the right question to ask, cause something's up if I'm not singing. Music has been a big thing for me, even from the time I was little. I was raised on Guns 'n Roses, Kiss, the Eagles, Journey, and a few other 80s bands. I distinctly remember sitting in the backseat with "Welcome to the Jungle" blaring in the car and thinking, Can we listen to "Sweet Child O Mine?" As I grew older, I began to listen to a bunch of tween stars that I mostly discovered from Disney Channel. *shakes head* Now I can say I'm a crazy music lover and know it's true. My taste goes in all different directions, from Miranda Lambert and Luke Bryan and Carrie Underwood and The Band Perry, to Evanescence and Bastille and Imagine Dragons and M83, to Chromeo and Toy-Box and A Touch of Class and Vitas, to Coldplay and Florence the Machine and Best Coast and Halsey, to Toby Mac and Hillsong and Ashes Remain and Rush of Fools, to Journey and Billy Joel and Bon Jovi and the Eagles, to Demi Lovato and Ellie Goulding and Brandon and Savannah and One Direction, to Louis Armstrong and Charlie Christian and Billy Holiday and Bix Biederbecke, to Frederic Chopin and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Franz Joseph Haydn. And, of course, I will never, ever, ever grow out of Taylor Swift. :) I'm also currently obsessed with the scores from my favorite telly shows (see above) and movies. Really, instrumentals are underrated. And now for some useless stuff about my likes and dislikes: Things I Like: Chocolate TARDIS blue Rainy days when I get to stay inside Tea My family My goldendoodle My friends Rotini noodles with lots of butter (THERE IS NO BUTTER ON CAMPUS I DON'T UNDERSTAND) Hot showers Christmas trees Saturday nights Reviews Things I Dislike: Mean people Lasagna Justin Bieber Rainy days when I have to go somewhere People who take two weeks to send me an email that takes five seconds to write Mosquitos Messes Too much light Headaches Locked wifi Steven Moffat And that's a little bit about me! If you like my stories and want to stalk me while staying within society's limits, you can check out the links below: My Pinterest (for my fandom obsession): /SongOfMyLife/ My YouTube channel (for my music): http://m.youtube.com/channel/UCxssM5Lp5zPvsZrSh0hbzZg My Tumblr (for general Star Wars stuff): And then my personal blog: And then my Wordgirl blog: (Sorry. I run many blogs. :P) So yeah! Hope you enjoyed!! :) Eyes Open Saga Timeline I promised to add this to my profile, and I like to think I'm good at keeping promises. For those who are curious, this timeline is for my stories about Kira Narro, the forgotten Padawan of Obi-Wan Kenobi. My goal has been to write her stories in a way that actually makes it seem plausible that she's a character in the Star Wars universe and she just doesn't show up on screen. I'm working on loopholes concerning certain episodes in the Clone Wars series. Anyway. This is the timeline, including all chapter stories and oneshots that are canon in the Eyes Open universe. 24 BBY Eyes Open begins 23 BBY Stuck in the Stairwell 21 BBY Continuation of Eyes Open Ways to Corrupt a Padawan, written by katierosefun On This Very Christmas Night 19 BBY I Know Places Bad Blood Style Safe and Sound 18 BBY Clean 16 BBY While Others Were Left Breathless, written by Lux's Sister There are other stories that have been written that include Kira as well. However, they don't exactly fall into the timeline I've established here. I would still like to acknowledge them and thank the authors who liked Kira enough to use her in their own stories. These stories, written by other authors, are listed below. One Moment, written by katierosefun To Build A Home, written by katierosefun Tale As Old As Time, written by katierosefun While Others Worked Toward Healing, written by Lux's Sister (I actually need to figure out the timeline of this one, because it's not specified.) Anyway, thank you for reading, supporting the stories, and looking at my timeline! It means the world to me that you're enjoying the stories, as Kira is my baby. | |||||||
