(i go by mandy around these parts. i like to play chess. always doing it for johnny and jlock and the joy of alliteration.

and i want to love, i want to love constantly, i want to embody love and see change because of my love and one step on that road is creating these stories.

im self-trained. its been a great road-trip with myself. and its not ever gonna end, as long as my words live in the heart of at least one person.)

when i grow up, im gonna write. perform. travel. teach. speak. human rights advocate, fixing the places that are reaching for hope. im gonna be the aunt lyssi to the uncle rick of our days. im gonna be the queen of that button poetry youtube account. in short, im going share my experiences the way they were and understand others while others walk away. i use new words. if theres a different way to say it, i will say it that different way. writing is about discoveries, and there's infinite discoveries in this world, no matter how many billion years it's stood. and i want to be one of the lucky ones to help you find these discoveries.
kingdom keepers is my life. honest. kk took my life, shook it, and put it back in place with a renewed love for disney and a reason to keep on fighting. and for that, i am forever grateful. im also grateful for the opportunity i was given to meet ridley pearson, who btw should be king of the world, which was the best day of my life. he’s truly an amzing author and, in my opinion, a hero. an amazing example of those striving to keep the magic alive. my life mission is to raise KK pride.

i like to play with fashion and its many disguises. i'm the one with the crazy neon colors and sixteen neckalaces at a time and those glove-thingies-that-are like-leg-warmers-for-hands and beanies...always a beanie...my tswgo, dftba, twd, and erase the hate bracelets never come off, including my les mis necklace, my rainbow charm, my HPA heart, and mini kk book charm. and my great-nana's (great great grandmother) blessed mother medal stays on always. yeah. i think in another life i was a fashion designer.
i belong at the roller rink. and rock concerts. whenever i have writer's block (which is not frequent) those two places are the cure.

my mother used to dance with me around the room to the soundtracks of les mis and phantom when i was a baby. that's the reason why when im on the stage, the lights don't shine on me--i become one. a tiny one, out of millions. but a part. special to me: hedwig, cats, tlm, music man, lion king...
above all, i support lgbtqia rights and religious coexistence. im an activist for a lot of things, and this is what i believe in most. if you cut me open, im gonna bleed. and the same thing with you. and the same thing with every person on this planet...therefore you deserve the same thing as me.
myone desire is to be the first female judas on broadway in jesus christ superstar. that musical is all i am and all i care about. i know every second of it.

call me mandy, please do. everyone's been doing that for so long I figure I'd let it flow. but I wouldn't mind it terribly if you did call me my real name. i get all fuzzy inside. few close friends know it.

my penname is one of my favorite quotes in the world, from the kingdom keepers series (book 2: disney at dawn). amanda's my favorite character. end of story. she's everything to me. i sometimes pretend im her. walking in the store like her is my favorite hobby. first crush ever.

iii. my summer fanfiction schedule—prone to change on short notice

an update every friday. usually around eight pm or midnight. either a oneshot series, like ive got you or blame it on the stars, a stand alone oneshot, or something part of disoriented. im into rewrites and i see a lot of that happening soon. almost always kk but every now and then pjo or hp.

v. operation find—help me discover the stories that brought me here

In July/August/September 2011, I discovered this website. Two stories I had read sealed the deal for me…and I can’t find them now.

Will you guys help me?

1. Read on July 11, 2011- A story in the Harry Potter section. I read two chapters—I’m not sure if there were more, although, the way it was worded, it kinda implied that it was continuing. The first chapter I read took place right after the Battle of Hogwarts. Harry and Hermione were walking through the wreckage and they came across Voldemort’s body. Hermione touched it. (The POV much have been third person omniscient because after she touched him it was revealed in the text that a sickness was instantly passed to her.) The second chapter took place in an office (maybe a Muggle one, I’m not sure) where Hermione was working.
2. Read sometime after July 11, 2011- A story in the Kingdom Keeper section. I read one chapter—I’m not sure if there were more, although, the way it was worded, it kinda implied that it was continuing. There were two parts to the chapter: first one, Finn and Amanda were in a room, (for some reason, I keep thinking there’s a fireplace there) and then Finn wakes up (apparently it was a dream, or he passed out, or something.). Next chapter he was talking with Dillard and wondering about the dream. (The POV was third person.)

I have searched for both stories and had no success (even for the KK one, which is making me start to think it’s off the site because the archive is fairly small.) I don’t know the title or author of each.

I would really appreciate your help, no matter how involved it is.

vi. odds and ends—randomness, more like it

if there’s one story that you have to read by me, make it any of ive got you. i kinda like them. the lie of the fair. and in a moment is pretty good. disoriented i don't mind either.
