I NOTICED THIS STUFF

.x. If there's one thing I've learned about Cannon in most actual series is that, to be frank, adults are often a perfectly good waste of a brain. To every good one of age there is, at the very least, ten or so what-the-hell-is-this-crap-OMG ones.

Some of my stories address that, with gusto, and fix it. Other stories point it out and have a good, long, hard laugh. Other stories...well, those just never make it to the public eye, let alone out of my head in the first place, but I still laugh long and hard about it.

.x. There is a great difference between an artistic license and we-hate-this-person-lets-make-it-as-if-everyone-else-does-too-aka-reckless-character-bashing. A lot of people don't seem to recognize the fine lines and that they, you know, actually consist of plausible reasoning. A moment of silence, if you please, for those who lack understanding. (Yeah, I'm reaching for a drink right now, too.)

.x. I'm definitely sure that you are sure that you have the bestest fanfic evar! I would, personally, be sure about you having the bestest fanfic evar if you took the time to spell check more than one sentence, took out the overwhelming abuse of punctuation (I'm going to start reporting you to the Punctuation Police, you jerks!), used punctuation (but no abuse!), used the wonderful key known as the 'SPACE BAR' (A key that is often known as "God" in some circles.), refrained from bolding/italicizing/underlining/capitalizing/lower-casing every single word and put in some actual thought to what you are writing. Even crack should have some semblance of intelligence.

.x. Yes, mistakes happen. However, they're not supposed to breed and infect.

SERIES, CHARACTER & PARING LIKES/DISLIKES
I'm a rather open individual. If something I write or like offends you, then it's your problem, not mine. That being said, in my opinion, all types of parings are win as well as gender bender.

Cowboy Bebop:
Grencia Mars Elijah Guo Eckner AKA Gren is my favourite character of all! I have Space Lion in my MP3 collection and it's of my personal opinion that on of the two only things wrong with Cowboy Bebop: Shooting Star in that he's not in it (the other is that it's only two volumes!).

I have a soft spot for most of the side characters - including Rocco, The Chessmen, Shin, Lin and VT - and a good sized dislike for Vicious, because he's a sick something or the other, while Vincent is my second character hate. Scorpion is one of my favourite baddies, though, in all of Bebop.

This is one series that will never die for me. Much love.

Bleach:
I love the Eleventh Division. Words cannot express the love I have for the Eleventh Division properly. There are not enough accurate (Yumi-ese: beautiful) words in any language to describe the Eleventh Division and my love for it!

That being said, again, I really like nearly every character. Mayuri Kurotsuchi, however, can go do some rather vulgar things to himself. Aizen, too! Hell, they can do vulgar things to each other and stay the hell out of my Bleach. HISS!

Ghost In The Shell:
I love pretty much everything about this series. I love it so much I have quite the hard time picking a favourite character, but it'd have to be Togusa. I like him in almost any paring, too. The Tachikoma's - as fun as they are - are kind of hard for me to really place and write about.

Harry Potter:
I love Harry x Hermione fics, despite the way it goes in canon. They just seem to compliment each other quite nicely. It's not that I dislike Ginny, it's just... well, really? She's a pretty nifty character, but I just can't see her working too well with Harry.

Neville is full of awesome as is Luna, the Marauder's are just epic and the twins are chock full of WIN~ I think Cedric should of lived (tears!), Ron is more than a bit of an arse who doesn't really learn ever, and Dumbledore is a manipulative old bastard. So many questions, so few answers! Much dislike for Peter and Voldermort, but (pre-Dark Lord) Tom has some possibilities and is interesting.

The rest of the Weasley's are win too (Bill, Charlie and sometimes Percy), but sometimes Molly grates my nerves and Arthur seems just too compliant for my tastes. Snape is half and half. I think he's rather much a git, but I have read some stories where good!Snape was done rather well, so really it's a coin toss during the right mood. Tonks is a riot and it makes me happy to read stories where she's taken on the big sister role to Harry and, at times, Hermione. Heh, Harry and Hermione get dealt a rather bad hand often, so the more where they're doing off rather lovely is the more happy that I am.

InuYasha:
I like Kagome. To be more specific, a kickass or independent (both!) Kagome. Really, her character has a lot of possibilities, both in canon and non, that are rarely explored and used to full potential. The rest of the group is awesome, as are most of the villains, but she's my favourite.

I rather dislike Mukotsu from the Shinchinin-tai and, well, he's about it. Sure, there are other villians, but they don't even rate near my dislike for Mukotsu. Naraku is a close second, though.

Naruto:
Haku, Sakura, Hinata, Lee, Kankuro, Naruto and, okay, I like almost every character except for Danzo and Orochimaru. Can't really stand the two and have only read a few fan comics where Orochimaru is pretty awesome as a super!baddie.

Sakura and Hinata are two of the most powerful kunoichis (or as we've seen, have the potential to be) and yet, WTF Kishi?!

People who recognize canon!Haku as a guy make me extremely happy. I don't care if he's in a het, yaoi or any such else, but seriously, people! I will start sounding like Sai if I keep having to argue this point with those who just don't get it.

Ouran Highschool Host Club:
Love almost everyone, Umehito Nekozawa more than others. Renge get's on my nerves sometimes, Tamaki's grandmother is, well, those words are just plain unkind and nothing really pleases me about Eclair.

Haruhi with any of the other Host Club members are parings I like, but add Nekozawa or Kasanoda to the mix? Glee! Testsuya needs more time, too.

Pokèmon:
One of my longest time favourite series. I love the games, the manga and the anime, though I haven't been keeping up with DP.
I loved Kasumi/Misty's character and was rather sad when she left, but Haruka/May was a good alternate, in my opinion. Hikari/Dawn, however... Eh, I don't hate her, but she didn't thrill me either.

As far as parings go, I'm rather open. Though, I do have a bit of trouble seeing May with anyone other than Ash or Drew.

Ronin Warriors/Samurai Troopers:
One of my first anime, I proudly own all the DVDs and could only wish to own the manga. I used to race home from school just to catch it on oldschool Toonami. Touma, Shin, Seiji, Ryou, Kentou...heck! I like all of the warriors! I'm truly a sucker for a story involving or mainly focusing around Shin or Touma, though.

Sailor Moon:
One of my first anime, it was truly love at first watch. I used to own up to R via the VHS (my brother now has 'em xD) and currently have PGSM on my shelf. I've seen all the way up to SS, though admittedly not all the episodes.

I love the typical series parings and don't really have any dislikes except for the majour baddies (Queen Beryl, The Wiseman/Death Phantom, ect.). If I had to pick a favourite character, it'd be a toss up between Fiore and Saffiru. If you know who those two are then mucho kudos!

Twilight:
I hate the book. Really and truly do. The plot holes are endless, the characters make me want to pull my hair out and the entire story is a big tall glass of WTF, followed by an FTS chaser. Alice and Jacob were the only characters I liked for the longest time and then, apparently, the became too popular so they had to begin to suck in the later books.

The movies are kind of neat, though, so go figure. Not to mention some of the fanfics are rather well written. I can't say I'll ever write a Twilight fic, but if it's a friend's birthday/celebration-of-some-sort and they're drunk enough to ask me for one, then I'll oblige.

Wild Life:
This was a chance, but truly awesome, series I discovered during an episode of random boredom. The characters have such a uniqueness to them and the in-depth analysis of the animals, as well as the mild humour, make for a pretty great read.

I love writing this series and have a penchant for stories involving either Ryotou or Tesshou. Sometimes both. Together. Rawr.

Yu-Gi-Oh!:
God, I feel oh-so-old when talking about this series, but damn, the original was the best! Also, it's of my personal opinion that the manga is so much better than the anime.

Much love for Hikari's and the Yami's. Ryota is an overlooked character. Bandit Keith pisses me off. I prefer Anzu over Tea - yes, there is a difference. I'm okay with most of the typical parings, yaoi and yuri included.

YuYu Hakusho:
Honestly, I'm an easy read when it comes to this series. Kurama is my favourite character, I'm pro-protagonists and anti-antagonists, minus those who have redeemed themselves (IE: Sniper, Touya, Jin = Yay!). There's no paring I really dislike, but I'm sure someone will prove this statement wrong and I'll revise it as deemed fit.

Crossovers:
Now, this is a bit of a special category for obvious reasons; it goes against canon for at least one of the series involved. Since this is the case, I'm going to first go by parings (alphabetical) and then the reason why.

Fred & George Weasley x Hikaru & Kaoru Hitachiin (HP & OKHC) - Really? Must I really explain myself? Really? ... Twin Win. 'nuff said.

Kurama x Kagome (YYH & InuYasha) - Out of all the Kagome and Kurama crossovers, I find that I like this one best. Both characters can easily fit into each other's series and, given their general personalities and day to day activities, each other's lives. They just mesh well together, in my opinion!

Nekozawa x Ryou (OKHC & YGO) - I suggested this paring on a whim request to Nayru-nee-chan and really, really liked the results. Very much so. Rawr.

Sakura x Byakuya (Naruto & Bleach) - Really, truly and honestly, I have no idea why I love this paring so much but I do, I do, I do! They just seem to fit so well! Must be all those cherry blossoms. -nodnod-

Yusuke x Kagome (YYH & InuYasha) - Another of my favourite Kagome crossover parings. Not only do their personalities clash so well, but the their day to day lives can fit so nicely that I can't help but find it a pretty good match.
