PROFILE:

I have been writing fanfiction for over a decade now and I guess it's become a habit I can't break. I also write poetry, but that will not end up here. I am about due for an update on my website, however, which will include poems there if you're interested.

I am a canon monster. The biggest compliment you can give me is to tell me my characterization is totally believable. The other major compliment I adore is if you tell me you like my diction. I'm mad about unusual and unique word choices that allow for interesting description.

Favorite Characters: The list is huge, but to name a few: Gundam Wing's Quatre Raberbra Winner and Trowa Barton; Sailormoon's Tomoe Hotaru; Fruits Basket's Sohmas Yuki, Hatsuharu, and Momiji; Tsubasa/CardCaptor Sakura's Li Syaoran and Daidoji Tomoyo (separately); Hana Kimi's Izumi Sano; Kamekazi Kaitou Jeanne's Kusakabe Maron; Pita Ten's Shia; Slayer's Lina Inverse; and Please Save My Earth's Nishikiori Issei.

Things I am working on: please feel free to let me know if this is something you'd be interested in reading. They are all in various states from actively working on, to almost-but-not-quite abandoned.

Her True Name (Working?), Bleach: Inspired by my interest in a fight between Bleach's two ice Zanpakutou: Rukia's and Hitsugaya's. This is the story of Rukia's blade and it's shikai manifestation. Pre-series and thus will also have to explore Rukia's relationship with Kaien and Renji (I've somehow managed to leave Byakuya out). May continue with a companion fic: either an examination of the relationship between Ichigo and Rukia's zanpakuto (Black vs White, Moon affinity), or, oddly, a fight between Naruto's two wind-type users: Naruto and Temari. Status: Actively in progress.

Year of the Ox, Fruits Basket: Instead of focus on the current Akito-generation of Sohmas, I've started research and character design to create a previous generation of cursed Sohmas. The story would follow Sohma Chiyo for a period of time (up to a year) prior to her wedding to Sohma Takumi. Status: Researching phase. Time period shifted to Meiji Restoration, since my familiarity with Ruroni Kenshin provides a backbone to the period and will require less research. On the back burner while I work on Her True Name.
