Wow, I never expected this from a relatively short story.
Yes, It's a bit far fetched with Potter's wealth, manors, wands, and such, but still balanced. Not everything is nice and dandy with Superpowerful Harry to whom everything simply falls into his lap. I liked it more for the fact that it's a bit gritty at the end.

I'm almost positive they are still legal in the US (steel bull bars), I know I've seen them all over but I don't know if they were specifically steel and if that even makes a difference. I'd be curious if a motion for that becoming illegal here would have any success. Anyway, great story/chapter and I am so ready to start the next one.

I get the whole 'balance' thing, but Xeno and Dan's deaths still suck rotten eggs. I am glad that the ladies survived, at least.

Always get a kick out of rereading this story. Your writing always brings the characters to life. Hopefully...maybe one day...you'll give us another h/hr/l story to sink our teeth into.
