WIPs

Legion of One Series:

A three part series. An AU where Shepard never becomes commander and leaves the military after surviving Akuze. Shepard's life thereafter is shrouded in mystery, dropping her name and identity. All of ME1 is finished by Commander Kaidan Alenko, who has assumed his role as leader of the Reaper War. It will be FemShep/Garrus.

First part of the series is the current Legacy of One. I've outlined half of the story. Expecting it to be around 30 chapters at least 60 chapters. Updates once every week or two (depending on how real life takes over). Trying to keep it as in character as I can so the romance is eventual.

On updates:

Legacy of One will now update every other Friday, around 10pm-11pm GMT 8. Like clockwork. [Circumstances might force me to update earlier or later, nonetheless, consider those pleasant/unpleasant surprises.]

On another note, I've been a little bothered by the shameless amount of fluff for this pairing because, well, they're not exactly fluffy. Funny, yes. Clever, yes. Touching, definitely. But not-- fluffy. This doesn't mean that I dislike fluff. I just think there should be some development and depth before a good romance can get started. It's the reason why I ship FemShep/Garrus at all.

Still working on a one-shot or two-shot fic for its prequel, to better understand the Shepard in this AU. Expect that much later, though.

Whether the third part will be published will depend on what people think. :)

Dragon by the Ridge

New AU being written for fun. Sporadic updates, however, since it really is to give me more breathing room. It mostly written in Garrus's POV and takes on the idea that he is now a Spectre. There is no war and there are no Reapers. It is also a Shepard twins story, as I love those.

When it Rains in Omega

Newest AU. It has Teenage!FemShep as an orphan who grew up in Omega and works as an information courier. It's more pre-romance (or just plain friendship) with Garrus. Time is set before events of ME1. Immensely enjoyable for those who want something more slice-of-lifey, action-ish, and funny. Updates every 5-7 days depending on review count. Complete

Taught by Thirst

Sequel of When it Rains in Omega, you may want to start in that first story for this to make any sense to you but there is a (spoilers ahead) five year time skip where FemShep is 21, and returns to Omega to find it in tatters (end of spoilers). It is a much darker story, as well, but I tried to retain as much as Millie Shepard's humor as I could.

Reviews will be cherished and worshiped. Please tell me what you think, how I can improve, etc.

It's come to my attention that they are hard to get. I don't think it was this difficult the last time I made an account (long time ago, I don't think my email for that is active anymore). If you have the time, please to leave me a word. Reader support is the best thing for an author.
