Gotta wonder how anyone could go for Kaidan over Garrus. Even as a man I knew there was no other option since ME2. If you could bro-mance Garrus as a male Shepard I'd probably have done it at least once, too.

The slice of life has reached that point where you could apply it to any universe changing only a few words.

That said, it's some good slice of life.

Some latent bad-assery woulda been nice, but nice fix overall!

Awwh I'm sad I'm near the end I had this favorited for a godawful amount of time until I said its servantofclio and it's a garrus fshep, and it's completed the other day and finally started reading and I didn't regret it one bit, sad it's almost over but excited to read the end so. Kinda sad though, how they grew apart, and I guess hindsight isn't always 20/20 eh frigg ah I feel bad for garrus she calls it off after seeing Kaiden again, heaves on then his wi sorry bond mate dies, now they're meeting each other on a regular basis again while he's still grieving damn. I hate Kaiden it's a personal thing(even intentionally made it so I'd get to kill him in ME3 once) so I don't feel too bad about him, but I do feel for Shepard. We'll that's all so as always. Sorry, I was far too immersed to review up until the end, Haha. I kept forgeting your Shepard is African American. XD'' And I'm usually very anti living Shepard after the Reaper wars. ( Feel like the only woman alright with the programmer decision with the ending. ) And I can't stand Kaiden, or Ashley for that matter. BUT THIS WAS ADORABLE! -flails- And I love Sol and Lexa so much! Sol is all 'hands off my little brother, you heart breaking bitch.' Cried. So emotional. I love this story and I don't even know how to properly express that in words. You're the writer and I'm just the reviewer though, so hopefully you can forgive me. I'll just be here... sitting with my laptop and weeping about dead OC's.

I love their relationship/friendship/whatever. The way they lift each other up is beautiful and I loved how it was portrayed in this chapter.

Maybe it's my age, but this story really moves me in a way no other fan fiction story has. Thank you for writing it, I'm sure to enjoy to enjoy the whole thing if I feel this way at chapter 2.

Wow. This was really amazing. I've just read it in one sitting, and now I just feel like playing Mass Effect all over again! The OC's were very nice, very well written and not in an annoying way, kudos for that! All in all the tone was really excellent, I enjoyed all appearances by former crew members - although I'll admit I would have wanted to see more of them!
All in all though, thanks so much for writing and sharing!
