Wow, this was absolutely stunning. Had me in tears by the end of it. Really brilliant, bittersweet writing. Perfectly captured the passage of time and the connection between Garrus and Shepard. Just really, really brilliant. Can't believe it doesn't have more reviews. Well done.

This deviation from the typical shakarian romance is very interesting. I like how you delve into their psyches and wax philosophic on their relationship. Even though I tend to prefer fshep and Garrus as a couple and soul mates, you kind of make them soul mates here just in a slightly different way.

How you do this is enthusing and inspiring. Rare to leave me speechless. :) You. are. amazing.

Why you so good at words? Stories like yours make me want to review and review but they leave me waving my hands and typing gibberish in place of anything sensible and helpful. You wrote a real fwb relationship without casting it as something less than romance, as so many people do. You even did it without holding sex up as some mystical *thing* that is always perfect and wonderful.

I wish that more people were willing to be friends like this.

Thank you for writing this piece; you did a good job describing/conveying the peace they made with each other over the years as they remained constants for one another. (The description of events matches the feel of the game and continues in what I think would be the same vein.)

Oh gosh this is so beautiful. You've handled their friendship and relationship so well. I love the idea of them being together, without being together - that this loose relationship is still enough to satisfy them around their busy lives. Fabulous :)
