Author has written 6 stories for Dragon Ball Z. NEWS: I am alive and still writing. I know the lack of updates has caused people some anxiety, but I can't do much more than I am currently doing. Just have faith that I am not giving up. I just recently updated as a token of my dedication! MONKEY BUSINESS UNEDITED: If you're looking for the full, unedited chapters of this story, go to the website ArchiveOfOurOwn dot org, and look up my username there. It is the same as here. This shitty website doesn't allow links or even plain text urls in profile pages any more. Hi, I'm a long time fan of Dragonball Z. I saw my first episode 17 years ago, and the entire series plus Dragonball was not enough satisfy me forever. I'm far too old to still be obsessed with an animated series, but screw it. Probably most of you readers are too. I've been coming to FanFiction.net for years to indulge my appetite for the characters. I've trawled good fan fic and bad, and eventually it had to happen - I decided to write some of my own. I just hope they're some of the good ones. If you're a big fan of Bulma and Vegeta, you might want to check out the We're Just Saiyan and The Prince and the Heiress Google communities. The Prince and the Heiress is also on Tumblr, which has become a base of operations of sorts for the writing and fan art challenges and awards. I'm a writer that likes to engage with my readers, Please don't be alarmed if I respond to your reviews with thanks, questions or answers. Also don't be offended if I don't - I have tried in the past to respond to everyone, but in fact I am not nearly thorough or methodical enough to reply to everyone. TPTH Awards: 2017: Best Slow Burn - 3rd place - Never Ever Land Best Supernatural Fan Art - Never Ever Land bookcover. WJS Awards: I've been honoured by having some of my stories nominated and voted for in the We're Just Saiyan BV fanworks Awards. 2014: Best Alternative Universe - 1st place - Broken Down Universe Best Drama - 1st place - Broken Down Universe Best Action - 2nd place - Broken Down Universe Best Bulma Portrayal - 2nd place - Never Ever Land 2015: Best Humour - 1st place - Never Ever Land Best Humour - 3rd place - Monkey Business Best Characterisation - Never Ever Land Stories: Broken Down Universe is finished, and has since been improved in terms of punctuation and legibility. It is my masterpiece! It won Best Drama and best AU, and came second in Best Action in the 2014 WJS Awards. Innocence is my take on Vegeta's youth, but it's also much more than that. It's a pretty special story to me, actually. Five (long) chapters only, and complete. There is also this awesome fan art that accompanies the waterfall scene in chapter 4, done by Nelicquele79. You can safely view it before then though - the art contains no spoilers. Link - http:///art/Innocence-502502427 Baby's Day Out is just a humorous little family-orientated one-shot that I wrote for an Unnatural Lovers St Paddy's Day challenge. Never Ever Land still being updated. I'm going all the way with this one. It's kind of a comedy, adventure story edging slowly into a romance. Monkey Business: A Midsummer Night's Dream started as a one shot for a fic challenge. It ended up too risque for fanfiction.net, but what is fit for this site is posted here so that people can find it and also leave reviews here if they don't have an AO3 account. Full chapters are available on archiveofourown dot org. Look me up under the same username there. I did all my bookcovers except for the one for Monkey business. For this one I used the art work that inspired the story. It's called Never too Busy by Gwendy 85. Check it out on deviantart dot com, username gwendy85. Deviant Art and Tumblr: I'm also on deviant art and Tumblr under the same username. Also, the use of single quotation marks as opposed to double is not accidental, and is entirely correct for my part of the world. As I have to put up with double quotation marks in most fan fictions, and in fact, hardly notice them other to think that it looks messy, I expect my American or other readers to be mature enough to accept that it is different, but not incorrect, and get used to it as I must get used to their conventions when reading their material. I open any book on my bookshelf and the quotation marks are single. Double quotation marks are for quotes within quotes. I really wish I didn't have to say this, but there you go. I will not change the (grammatically correct) habit of a life time for grumblers. |
