love this story!

One of my absolute favorite V&B fics. You are an amazing writer. There are so many different angles to consider when writing the love story between Vegeta and Bulma, but I feel like the one that you have chosen for this story is so believable, authentic, and beautiful. I can totally understand why Bulma feels safe around Vegeta. He may be mean, but he's honest and strong and consistent in that. And there are so many lines in this story that make my heart clench. Like when Vegeta tells that creep Genzo about Bulma: "I think I might love her..." Ugh! Just beautiful. Mostly, I love that Vegeta gave Bulma the strength to conquer her own demons because he knew that would be hte only way that she could move past this traumatic event. And when she chose mercy, he chose to free her of ever having to worry about that creep again. Anyway, beautiful story, thank you for writing!

Seriously one of the best stories I’ve read. Extremely well written and an amazing story.

Loved it! Your portrayal of their characters were remarkable. Bulma’s PTSD was palpable and heart wrenching. Enjoyed the slow progression of their relationship. They both became survivors from their shared experiences with death. It was intense how Vegeta was the only one that could coax Bulma back to sanity. At times I felt he was too harsh but it was necessary. He made her stronger and independent! I’m so relieved that Genzo got what he deserved in the end...death! I’m always in awe no matter how many times I read this story!;)

You write Vegeta so well. Chapter 10 was so beautiful! "sometimes he was even suspicious of corpses." lololol

To me this is the best story you wrote about them. You are good at dealing with the trauma.
I hope you haven’t dropped writing fanfictions. But if you have I hope that it is in order to publish your own stories with success.

One day like 6 years ago, I read this entire story instead of working on some kind of university assignment. In that time, this story has always lingered at the back of my mind, one of my most favorite VegetaXBulma stories and one that I've mentioned to people numerous times because it's just so good. I, unfortunately, did not save it to my favorites. It was lost to me, and I'd periodically go back hoping I would be able to find it and not succeeding. Today, I found it, and yet again, I read the entire thing instead of doing a university assignment (this time for a master's degree). It's still lovely to read and very enjoyable. Thank you for writing it! And uh... I favorited this time.

This is my favorite one of your fics. I love it even more than Lab Monkey. You’re characters are so emotionally complex. The trauma isn’t just a plot devise that is resolved in a few chapters. I want to read this again and again. Thank you so much for writing this. Well done.
