Important: only a portion of my stories are posted here. Some stories I don't post here because they contain forbidden material (yes, I know that nobody cares about the no-sex rule around here, but I like to obey rules when I can), some because they are too short for me to bother, and some because I forget :P But you can find them all (except for Safety and What's In A Name?, which are only posted here so far) on my LJ account, which is listed under Homepage right up here. Stories:

So far, I'm focused on Ikkaku/Yumichika as a NON-pairing (I like to focus more on the friendship/family side of their relationship) and ShuuheixYumichika as a romantic pairing.

Also: I like my stories to stick to the canon, but since Bleach is still an open canon, there is always a risk that the Saga's storyline will be turned AU overnight, should Kubo Tite decide, for example, to insert another Ikkaku/Yumichika flashback or something like that (which I would totally LOVE, even if it rendered all my work AU.) That's what happened to The Blind Leading The Blind, and even though the Tousen/Hisagi/Komamura fight stopped me short in my writing, there's no way I'd rather not have had it in the manga in the first place :)

Safety: my personal musing on how Ikkaku and Yumichika met. Chibi Yumi, adult Ikkaku. Child abuse themes (no, not on Ikkaku's part, you pervs :-P ), a bit of violence, but hey, it's Bleach! And fluff, angst, friendship and hurt/comfort, because those are my favourite genres.

The Best Birthday Present Ever: Yumichika is badly sick, and Ikkaku fights to keep him alive. Written for Ikkaku's birthday. Fluff, friendship, angst, hurt/comfort, a bit of tragedy on the side.

What's In A Name? : or, a family by any other name... As the saying goes: you can choose your friends but you can't choose your family. What happens when Ikkaku tries to do just that? Again, friendship, fluff and angst.

The Wall Of Silence: a very angsty two-shot situated in the "present" time and written, believe it or not, for Christmas (well, the first part anyway). Ikkaku and Yumichika have let a wall of silence and misconceptions grow between them, and they are both now locked in their private Hell, for the other's sake.

The ShuuheixYumichika fics:

The Blind Leading The Blind: on hiatus. I might or might not continue it someday, or re-write it completely. In a post-Aizen War Soul Society in which everyone has lost someone precious to them (friends, lovers, colleagues), two deeply hurting and fundamentally opposite men slowly and grudgingly develop a fragile friendship.

Being The Perfect Uke Is Harder Than It Seems: a short one-shot piece of pure parody crack based on my frustration with the fics that present Yumichika as some kind of fragile little thing who needs some big bad strong seme's arms to protect him from all physical or emotional harm, and do everything manly or difficult for him.

Stand-alone fics:

Happy? Birthday! : Ikkaku tries to celebrate Yumichika's birthday while they are in the Living World the way they like it, but nothing seems to be going right. Technically situated in The Saga's universe, but can be read alone. Just know that it's friendship, not romance. Oh yeah, and it's crack too :-)

Can You Explain To Me, Taichou? : A take on what goes on in Hisagi Shuuhei's head during the end of Chapter 325 (Fear For The Fight) and the beginning of Chapter 326 (Knockdown Monster). Angst, drama.

Taking The Kids Trick-Or-Treating: Yachiru has discovered the existence of Halloween and has tried her best to get everyone to celebrate it. So now all Zaraki has to do is gather the disguised "kids" (Yachiru of course, but also Ikkaku and Yumichika, along with the kid captain from next door and his lieutenant) and take them all trick-or-treating around the Gotei 13. Simple, right? So why is he already getting a headache? Total crack, obviously, though hopefully IC.

Zanpakutoulogy: Mismatched: a continuation/deviation of sorts on "Zanpakutology" by Psycho-Neurotically Disturbed. Yumichika loves Shuuhei's zanpakutou for the very same reasons that Shuuhei hates it. Spoilers for Shuuhei's (and eventually Yumichika's, I guess) zanpakutou, obviously. Was supposed to be just one chapter, but will most probably be continued. Vaguely AU-ish, or rather outside of any real frame.

Twist Of Fate: this one is completely AU/AR. Zaraki Kenpachi is the poor, hard-working widower-ed father of three: Ikkaku the college student, Yumichika the talented teenage artist, and Yachiru the endless ball of happiness and energy. In one of his classes, Ikkaku meets the quiet Isane, who has to deal with her own dysfunctional family: her mother Retsu is a succesfull but heart-broken doctor, her father is an irresponsible play-boy, her teenage sister Kiyone is a poster-girl for posh rebellion, and her baby brother Hanatarou is a shy little mama's boy. As the two families gradually meet, the mutual appreciation is immediate and it seems like everything is going well on-track for them to become good friends - until one day, disaster strikes. There's friendship, family, romance, angst, drama, humour and all that stuff. It's currently on temporary hiatus, but I promise I'll go back to it someday!

The Other Halves: an alternative look at the relationships between Zaraki and Yachiru, and Ikkaku and Yumichika, based on the revelations about Starrk and Lilynette in chapter 362. Inspired by "Only Half", by peroxidepest17, to whom it is dedicated.
