15/02/2013 Mega smashed up my hand so all stories on hiatus for a month probably more like two. I do have a short story about a couple of multiplayer characters that I'm considering submitting but other than that there will be nothing from me. Sorry to anyone who cares I do know how annoying slow updates are :( Oh btw characters are the Huntsman and Redcoat I love those 2 :D

Okay first off this fic is all about the little people behind the scenes who fix the animus’s (animusi? Lol) and keep Abstergo in tip top condition. Please don’t let that stop you from reading this gem. The technician of the title is a young woman called Leto who begins to believe something is rotten with her company and takes a look in places she shouldn’t. Her first trip in the Animus to visit Saja an ancestor from medieval Masyaf is gorgeous, I love that chapter so much you have no idea. The story is so gripping I constantly look for updates on this one.

This one is Dark Link in all his glory. The fic is in its early days so not much to say story wise except it’s off to a flier. So far it’s gritty, aggressive and atmospheric just what you want from the far more appealing, feisty Dark Link J I am recommending a non altmar/AC fic really what else is there to say?

Laila bint-Karīm is a novice assassin who trains mostly under the guidance of Altaïr. We see his fall from grace from her POV and also the damage it does to his friendship with Malik. Laila is a strong OC and you find yourself becoming as involved with her character as you are with the old favourites. A really nice OC story line in this one alongside the rest of the AC factoids we all know and love.

I can’t review this without smiling. It is AU but set in the correct time period. Maria is the daughter of a Templar and Altaïr is an assassin (durr!) but that is pretty much all I can give you. Want to know why I smile then go read and smile for yourself, I have a huge soft spot for this one.

We argued about almost everything and yet I kept reading. It is so well written and there is no denying this author can spin a tale that keeps you hooked. Forget the canon and just enjoy a damn good fic.

Faith - Part 1 - The Family Auditore

Warcraft fic and since I only mentioned 2 so far that are not AC that says a lot. Rhenn is brilliant character who I quickly connected with. Her story is huge and for any Warcraft fan I would recommend a trip to tavingston’s page. Page after page of charming writing in this one.

I freely admit to having spent many a happy hour reading these sketches. Dip in a toe, see how it feels then dive in and have some fun. Stick with it and you will find a chapter near the end which could easily be developed into an AU fic.

Fiora Cavazza is the head liner here and boy does she know how to work the limelight, we follow her through her days as a Templar until she is finally betrayed by Cesare. A brilliant take on the aforementioned Borgia here too, so far removed from the boring bad guy of AC Brotherhood. This is beautifully written with so much sumptuous detail you will be able to smell the waters of the Tiber as you read it.

Coilerfan35 Nothing Is True

Altaïr wakes up the morning after his wedding night and takes stock of his life and love. It’s rated K but still manages to allude to the passion of our OTP and has the best line ever written to describe Maria’s altered allegiances. His thoughts are golden in this one I had to read it a couple of times to take it all in.

NOTE: I only just recently found this one and now feel bad that I used the same title for one of my fics (sorry I honestly never knew this existed).
