Fandoms: I tend to explore multiple fandoms depending on my mood and current obsessions. I still write Rurouni Kenshin and Inuyasha fics (though I don't read them as much anymore). My biggest obsessions right now are Avatar: The Last Airbender, Big Hero 6, Fullmetal Alchemist, Miraculous Ladybug/Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir, and Voltron Legendary Defender.

Fanfic Peeves... Or, Things I Usually Avoid Reading: Blatant character bashing (unless it's for parody), inconsistent/random POV changes, any serious issue fic which clearly didn't involve research (or a sensitive approach) and just uses a superficial understanding of said issue for easy angst.

About Me And My Writing: My life has gotten much busier since I first started writing fanfic back in 2003 (guess I aged myself a bit there). I still write when I can and NONE of my stories are abandoned, they just aren't updated frequently. I've since laid down a new rule for myself: I won't post anything new until it is complete (this includes new multi-chapter fics). I write for my own personal enjoyment over anything else, but I definitely encourage critique to help me improve. Flames do not bother me. Some have actually provided something resembling criticism and the rest I just shrug off. My young days of letting petty anon hate bother me have come and gone. I usually write het (I have nothing against slash/yaoi/yuri... I just hadn't written any I was comfortable posting until recently) and tend to gravitate towards canon pairings in older fandoms. I do enjoy a well done alternate pairing and, since getting into A:tLA, have relaxed my shipping habits quite a bit. I may still have my preferred and avoid-at-all-costs pairings, but overall I'm not an obsessive shipper anymore.
