![]() Author has written 5 stories for Song of the Lioness, Legend of Zelda, Inuyasha, and Naruto. Hello all! Formally Known As: jazzelda1213 I'm a University student with too much time on her hands...in between assignments, that is. LOL. I've been writing fanfiction since I was a young teenager- a freshman in high school, to be specific. My first attempts were awful but, over time, I did improve (To Take Chances is proof of that!). I'm big on the romance- I can't get enough of a good romance story for my favourite shipped couples. Favourite Things: Cartoon:Danny Phantom: This is a great cartoon that has re-formed my liking for animation. It has a great storyline and original characters, plus the one-liners are pretty much classics! Teen Titans: Another great cartoon with great characters. I've always been a fan of DC Comics and I'm glad that one of the great comics has a chance to be out there for the next generation. Anime:InuYasha: Gotta love the ears of the loveable and short-tempered half-demon. The characters are memorable and the animation is of top quality. DN Angel: This is such a funny and cute show! Of course, I'm a fan of obvious humour and this show has it! Romance is a plus as well! Howl's Moving Castle: I've only just recently seen this movie (5/12/06) and I love it! Calcifer rocks! Spirited Away: One word comes to mind: Awesome! Haku is such a sweetheart. I want a plushie of him! Princess Mononoke: Both gory and gorgeous, this movie is both funny and enlightening. Ashitaka is so hunky, I want him for myself. Naruto: Very good series, and the characters are so well detailed in story background. Ergo Proxy: I've recently finished watching the entire collection of 24 episodes of this anime, and it was brilliant! Lots of mystery and scifi... and a little sexual tension between the main characters Real and Victor. Fate Stay Night: This 24 episode anime is friggin' fantastic! Lots of fantasy action and battles, and a hint of romance in the mix. I love how the story is based upon the folklore of the Holy Grail and King Arthur, who is represented as a female warrior Servant called Saber. Thumbs up for this one! TV Show:Stargate: Atlantis: I LOVE this series! The one-liners and character development is top-notch and I love the slight horror that comes when encountering the bad guys! LOL Stargate: SG1: This is another great show- the characters are the reason why I watch this show! They're so original and the best. House: Who doesn't love the Doc who has a wierd way of viewing the world? His straight to the point attitude is what comedy is about! Book:Song Of The Lioness Quartet by Tamora Pierce: This is a wonderful series that has so much heart and action at the same time that it'll appeal to most tastes. Protector Of The Small Quartet by Tamora Pierce: This is another series by this wonderful author who creates a wonderful imaginary world and continues to give it life with this series of four books about the next generation of heroes and heroines. Trickster Duet by Tamora Pierce: Another compelling and wonderful read that has a slightly different writing style that incorporates a different generation's view point on life and goals. Will Of The Empress by Tamora Pierce: A different world is continued in this series with the characters having to deal with growing up and having to deal with a life that was handed to them while they were very young. Exodus by Julie Bertagna: If you want a book about the future and how it could be like if the polar ice caps melted and if there was no land left. The heroine's quest to save her family and people from dying out and her discovery of the 'real' future of millions of others as they lived in comfort in cities in the sky. A very emotional read. Game: The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time: One of those classic games that has a lot to tell in storyline. Specific Favourites: Cartoon Characters: Raven and Robin (non-pairing) from Teen Titans, and Sam from Danny Phantom. Anime Characters: Calcifer from Howl's Moving Castle. TV Show Characters: Rodney McKay from Stargate: Atlantis. Book Characters: Faithful from Song Of The Lioness, Dom and Neal from Protector Of The Small and Nawat from Trickster. Game Character: Zelda from The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time. Shipped Pairings: Cartoon: Robin/Starfire from Teen Titains; Sam/Danny from Danny Phantom. Anime: Miroku/Sango from InuYasha; Howl/Sophie from Howl's Moving Castle; Sasuke/Sakura and Naruto/Hinata from Naruto; Chihiro/Haku from Spirited Away; San/Ashitaka from Princess Mononoke. TV Show: Rodney McKay/Elizabeth Weir and John Sheppard/Teyla Emmagen from Stargate:Atlantis; Daniel Jackson/Vala Mal-Doran from Stargate:SG1. Book: Kel/Neal from Protector of the Small; Aly/Nawat from Trickster. Game: Link/Zelda from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Thanks for reading my rant and I hope to have more fanfiction uploaded soon! So keep a look out! My Published Fics: (18/3/07) To Take Chances: My best work and the first fanfiction I ever finished. I'm very proud of it and thank you all to everyone who supported me while I wrote it. (Legend of Zelda; Romance/Drama; Link/Zelda). Rating: T. Complete. I Took That Chance: The sequal to To Take Chances, and it's definately a challenge, because it is set in the next generation and it'll be my first Action/Adventure story with Romance. (Legend of Zelda; Action/Adventure/Romance; OC/OC). Rating: T. In Progress. And Then It Happened: This fic is my oldest one and it's going through a complete re-write. There are hardly any Kel/Neal fics out there, and I'm glad that there are still people out there who are fellow shippers like me. (Protector of the Small; Romance/General; Kel/Neal). Rating: T. In Progress. Invisible Wings: This is definately a difficult fic to write, since I have to watch the movie City of Angels numerous times to make sure that I have the specific details that'll make the fic recognisable as a crossover/AU. This is my first attempt at a fic of this genre, so wish me luck! (InuYasha; Romance/Spiritual; Miroku/Sango, InuYasha/Kagome). Rating: T. In Progress. Against All Odds: This was my first attempt of a one-shot, songfic, Naruto fic! Whew! What a mouthful! LOL. (Naruto, General/Romance, Sasuke/Sakura). Rating: K+ Complete. Fics 'In The Works': (20/4/07) Freedom From Slavery: This is my first solo Stargate: Atlantis fanfiction and it's mostly to see how I can challenge myself into writing one. It is a Sheyla and McWeir fic, so there is Romance, but there is also the element of Drama, because the story is set in a slave-creating planet, and poor John and Teyla get stuck into being forced to have children with one another, in order to provide 'produce' for the slave markets. (Stargate: Atlantis, Drama/Romance, John/Teyla). Rating: T or M, depending on how graphic I'm going to go. Melting The Ice: This is my second attempt at writing a OC/Sasuke/Sakura love triangle story, and my first writing it with multi-chapters. It is about the time straight after Sasuke defeats his brother Itachi in battle. Sasuke wakes to find a familiar-looking girl helping him. Over time, he gets to know this girl and slowly learns on how to live a normal life without the goal of revenge haunting his every thought. He eventually starts to fall for her, but...why does she remind him of someone from his past? (Naruto, Angst/Romance, Sakura/Sasuke/OC). Rating: T. Co-Authored Stories: (18/3/07) Stargate: The Next Generation: I'm co-author of this fanfiction, with my friend Samvalasam. The story is in her name, so have a lookie if you want to see our version of the (grown-up) kiddies of the Atlantis expedition and SG1. It's a crossover fic with Stargate: SG1, and I'm in charge of writing and keeping track of the Atlantis side of the story, while Samvalasam does SG1. My fic Freedom From Slavery, is a prequel to this fic. (Stargate: SG1, Lots of ships!) Rating: T. In Progress. |
