I'm not sure how to start this section. Maybe with some background information on myself.

Facts

1) Pen name - Avion Jade or Avie for short.

2) Age - 24 years old.

2) Physical Description - Mid length dark brown hair, brown eyes and tanned skin.

3) Emotional Description - Usually neutral; but under the influence of anything resembling sugar or coffee is known for outbursts of hyperness...

4) Location - Somewhere in Ontario; usually found at home, University or with friend Queen000. ALWAYS away from the people with the long, sharp and pointy needles!

5) Pets - One dog named Deenie. She's very spoiled...my bad

Likes

In school: I am fond of Science courses; mostly Biology, Psychology and Health Sciences. I am in my second year of University studying for a Life Sciences degree. I also have always enjoyed English and History classes and plan to take both in my future terms at my campus.

Out of School: I like hanging around with my friends and goofing off with them. I've liked almost all the Final Fantasy games I've played (starting back as a kid playing the first Final Fantasy on the Nintendo and up to Final Fantasy VIII. I have played FFIX but did not enjoy it too much. Unfortunately I have not played FFX or X-2 but my friend Queen intends for that to become untrue very shortly.) Unfortunately I don't have a lot of time for games as I'm usually busy with school. I also like Mario Kart Double Dash and Mario Party six and seven.

I enjoy recreational reading, either from books or off of the internet as well as writing stories and poetry.

I play the piano and enjoy listening to a variety of music including Linkin Park (Yay they are still together!), Evenescence, Nightwish, Kamelot, Three Days Grace, Three doors Down, Greenday, select oldies (as long as they are not too countryish) and others.

I also like Anime including Dragonball Z, Paranoia Agent, His and Her Circumstances, Azumanga Daioh, Chrono Crusade, Yu - Gi - Oh, Ghost in the Shell, Gundam Seed and others.

My TV preferences are for programs like CSI, Close to Home, In Justice, House, Bones, Supernatural, Trading Spouses and Wife Swap.

I am also fond of a variety of sweet things including chocolate. And one of my favourite beverages is Coffee.

For Fanfiction I like well written stories in any genre, for categories like DBZ, Final Fantasy VII and VIII, Star Wars and Lord of the Rings.

Dislikes

People: People who intentionally hurt other people or animals. People who try to force their views on others, pushy people, people who try to suck up to others and people who do not seem to have a brain in their head but act more like mindless followers. I HATE being pushed around by people who think they know what's best for me.

Places: Crowded places. (I hate it when my personal space gets invaded by people I don't know. I have big personal space issues.)

TV: Shows that get repetitive like some reality TV shows; like Survivor, or Fear Factor. Shows where perfectly okay people are either made over or made to feel like less than what they are truely worth.

Anime: One Piece, Sailor Moon, Digimon (It has gotten repetitive), Pokemon, (Also repetitive).

Manga: Same as listed above.

Music: Country music and most pop music. (Some songs are good)

Stories: I really dislike stories where unconventional couples are used; like couples that weren't mentioned or implied in the show or game. Stories where straight couples are made homosexual or vice versa, or where there is incest within family or where there is a large age difference between couples.

Plagerism: I really don't like plagerism, especially as it reflects the lack of imagination of the one copying the others work. Like they need so much attention and praise but are so slow that they can't come up with their own ideas that they feel it is necessary to take others.

I understand if the original Author gave permission for their idea to be used by another, and I think that this is not plagiarism; rather a different view on the same or a similiar idea.

Recent Updates in Avie's Life.

Not much to say here. I have decided to leave University for a year to consider new opportunities and decide if the life sciences program is where I really wish to be. I'm thinking about changing my major to history, but am not quite decided yet (hence the year break). During this year I hope to find a full time job and will begin to take part time courses throughout. I am interested in switching my major from Life Sciences to a business degree.

I turned 24 January 30th, and am having a nearly 1/4 life crisis. I enjoy making fun of myself a little too much sometimes. I'm actually excited to turn 24, although I'm not entirely sure why. It feels like I turned 19 again. But on turning 19, I swear I all but stopped drinking alcohol when I hit the magic number...like it lost it's appeal to me. Oh well, I was always like that.

Hummm.

Well, if you have noticed I'm beginning to pick up writing again, now that I have anything resembling free time. And my first act is to go through the chapters and stories I've already posted and make grammar edits as well as unglue all the glued words I can find. I'm also re-reading the stories so I am better prepared to pick up where I left off. But I am in the process of writing up the next chapters for the stories.

I am still working on editing my stories. It's taking longer than I originally thought. I still have to finish editing the multichapter FF8 story I have.

Added note: Sorry got sidetracked looking for a job. I'm still interested in fixing up my earlier stories. I hope there's still interest in them. I will get to work on them as soon as possible. But for now a 1 shot has been posted.

Story Plans

It has been several years since I last worked on a story that I considered worthy to be posted on this site.

I am working on one Final Fantasy VIII story. It's a next generation AU, so don't be surprised at the new characters that show up.

I am also working on a Lord of the Rings story, which will be posted too. As a note on this story, I am aware that the first chapter skips through several hundred years. The skipped years and the adventures of misadventures held within will be posted as separate stories after this one is finished. There will be several alternate fics based on the 'Spirit of the Forest' arc and will explore the incidents which happened near them from a different point of view for each story.

A LOTR plot bunny has invaded my mind, and refuses to go away unless I post it. (This is unconnected to the Spirit arc.) Next chapter to be updated soon.

I will try to keep this information updated as frequently as possible to give out details on my posting of chapters.
