So, I'm a fanfic author. Not an amazing one, but a decent one. I do have a readership- and fellow authors that I collab with. I don't make the popular lists- or have thousands of hits, but I'm ok with that.

I write about the emotions and action more than the description. For me describing something that you all know, like what Colonel Mustang's office looks like, is just a waste of space and energy. If you read/watch FMA you know exactly what his office looks like whether it be in East City or Central. I won't waste my time describing in huge detail something like that. I will however make note of things like windows, furniture, general size, etc if it has a purpose. Like Hawkeye opening the blue curtains behind the Colonel to let sunlight in or Mustang half asleep on his large unremarkable desk.

I've studied English in college. That doesn't mean I don't find typos in my work. For a long time I never had a beta so older works could probably use a good proofreading from me. I do however now run my works by the talented ClosetedOtakus24 who betas my ongoing plots now.
