I would just like to say that this is an amazing story. The way you handled Team Mustang is brilliant! You've successfully preserved their expertise in covert ops and damn they are all just so good. Especially Hawkeye! I love how you wrote her! A subordinate unexpectedly thrusted upon a leadership role and then undergoes the most well-thought character development? That's the stuff! Thanks so much for writing and sharing this!

Oh my gods this whole story is so flipping fantastic! I read this a few years back and then quarantine has been reigniting some old fandom love and two days ago I had a very vivid memory of this story and knew I needed to read it again and so I did (in about 24 hours). Oh my goodness! So much better than I remember, which is saying something, because this is one of the best fanfics I’ve ever read. Every time a girl is described as being pretty enough to work in a hostess bar had me going “oh yes!” out loud! All the coordinating and scheming and everything just afsgfagfagg!

I know this story is kinda old and it's weird to comment on old stuff but just hear me out. When I first read this a few years ago I was too shy to comment but this story is one of my fandom favorites. I remembered it the other day and looked everywhere for it on ao3 until I realized it was on ffn! Read the whole thing again and it was just as good as I remembered, thank you so much!

Well that was tons of fun to read! Complete multi-chapters adventure stories are so rare, it's a pleasure to find one that is so well-written on top of that. As always with fanfiction, I disagree with some of the characterization (particularly Wrath), but the story was so engaging that I didn't mind. Great job! :)

This was absolutely incredible and it has everything I wanted from a FMA fanfic. Such an interesting idea for an AU, lots of angst for Hawkeye and Mustang and my OTP, Royal. Yes, maybe there could’ve been more focus on the Elrics, as other reviewers have said. More interactions between Ed and Mustang wouldn’t hurt. But then...But the story is mainly told from Hawkeye’s perspective (which is always on point!), so the lack of Elric perspective is understandable. The Elrics are still getting their part done in the background while the main events of this AU are told through Hawkeye’s... um, eyes. To retell every event of the original story from Ed’s story, even with the AU, would get tedious. The brothers remain in Hawkeye’s thoughts throughout and that’s enough. Anyway, thanks for the awesome fic!

Despite not having the Elrics more in the story, Great fanfic

I've finished the reading of chapter 27. This work is so damn good. It really shows me a possbility of the fma story.

This was an excellent story. While I have a few issues with it, they’re issues I also have with Brotherhood, so so it’s not really your fault. I loved the way the story paralleled the canon with mor of a focus on Mustang and his team, delivering a fresh take on the story we all know and love. I know from experience how challenging a long story like this can be, and you pulled it off. Well done. I’ve read through it several times, and likely will read through it again many more.

And can I just say you were spot on with Royai. It's SO hard to find good Royai stories that don't seem overly forced or unnatural. Thier relationship was near perfect and fit their characters so perfectly accurate.
