I started college two years ago, and, as is unfortunately common anymore, ran into a brick wall of mental health issues. It's been very hard to be motivated to write - or even want to be motivated - but I have not given up on finishing "The Beginning and End of Everything." I really appreciate your support and sincerely thank you for being so patient with me. I love you aaaaaalllllllll...! "Amatus" is late Latin for "beloved," and it is a different spelling of one of my favorite minor characters from the Mortal Instruments series - and yes, "Amata" is the correct female variation. Whoops. "Vanitas" is Latin for "vanity" or "emptiness" and is also the name of one of my favorite Kingdom Hearts characters. Other Sites: As I make the move to other social network sites, I do my best to keep the same username and avatar to identify me. ;) You can find me at DeviantArt, Tumblr, Archive of Our Own, Twitter, and YouTube. Gaming: My favorite game series is and always will be Kingdom Hearts, and in case you hadn't noticed, I ship Riku/Xion especially hard. Sora/Kairi, Terra/Aqua, and Roxas/Namine are also adamantly shipped, but I'm open to just about anything if you can write it well. As is to be expected of most adult Kingdom Hearts fans, I'm also a fan of Final Fantasy, but I'm still working my way through the main series. My first introduction to the series was XIII, so I have a fond spot for it. (Aaaand, okay, I kind of adore Hope Estheim. Kinda maybe sorta very badly.) I will admit to being a Hope/Light shipper, just... just not in the original. I started Final Fantasy VII next, which I'll have to restart, but I did watch Advent Children and the recap of the game, so I get it. Kinda. I hope. I support both Clerith and CloTi - Clerith a bit more, but they're both canon to some extent - and Vincent/Yuffie makes me smile. I got two-thirds of the way through the remake of IV before I got distracted, and so far it's actually my favorite of the classics... And then I played Final Fantasy XV. Why did they do this to you, Lunafreya? Whyyyyy??? I mostly ship Noctis/Luna, but I like the entire OT4 dynamic, too. Thanks to a friend in college, I picked up a copy of Tales of Xillia, then Tales of Zestiria, and now Tales of Berseria, so guess who has a whole new series to work through. I don't play them often enough to say I'm a huge fan, but I do enjoy survival horror games, and Fatal Frame, also known as Project Zero, is my drug of choice. God, this series gave me the most awful Vicodin nightmares when I had my wisdom teeth taken out... but WHAT DID THEY DO TO MY BELOVED HINASAKI MIKU. As a result of my dad being a huge Sony loyalist, my parents bought Sony consoles instead of Nintendo, so I've never really gotten to play the Legend of Zelda games. I bought and finished Ocarina of Time 3D after, like, two years, but I really just need to get a WiiU and buy all the virtual copies I can. You kinda have to be a fan of the two main Nintendo franchises, right? Still. Other games I'm a fan of include Journey, Thomas Was Alone, the Portal series, and Dark Cloud and Dark Cloud 2/Dark Chronicle. Nostalgic for me means Spyro the Dragon, Jak and Daxter, Sly Cooper, and MediEvil. Television, Film, and Anime: I don't watch TV much anymore. (Why do I even have a Netflix subscription?) I was a huge fan of Fringe back in the day and used to write it, but I've never been satisfied with the way I wrote the characters, you know? Maybe I should take it up again now that I'm an "adult." I also kept up with Heroes as a kid and watched Heroes Reborn. I stuck with True Blood up until the end, and I'm kinda off-and-on-again with American Horror Story. Through my mom, I've also been keeping up with Westworld, Counterpart, and The Americans. Favorite movies include Zombieland, Easy A, Deadpool (because I have to like at least one superhero movie, lol), and The Mummy from 1999. There are definitely more, I just can't make lists well. Shingeki no Kyojin was actually the first anime I ever "finished" (until the second season came out), and I marathoned Puella Magi Madoka Magica in a day. Childhood curiosity caught up with me, and while I'm still trying to buy and work through the manga, I enjoy Yu-Gi-Oh!, cheesiness and all. Also, Say 'I Love You'. Just... Say 'I Love You'. Books: I kinda stopped reading, too? Still, here's an incomplete list of my favorite books and series: Harry Potter, The Princess Bride, the Divergent trilogy, the Hunger Games trilogy, the Infernal Devices, Freak the Mighty, It's Kind of a Funny Story, Alone at Ninety Foot, The Fault in Our Stars, and Paper Towns. Hit me with all those YA books, lol. Music: I listen to a variety of music genres, but mostly I listen to alternative. Favorite bands at the moment: Paramore, Imogen Heap, Ellie Goulding, Bastille, Zella Day, and Florence the Machine, and that list is extremely subject to change. As long as it's not Taylor Swift, you should be able to get me to at least listen to it, maybe even find a song I like. MEGAFLO, IT TOOK AWAY OUR PRETTY DANCE. -_- Speaking of MegaWallflower... See the pretties she drew for me?! They're all for "The New Future's Face," my post-KHIII (nonspeculation) multichapter fic regarding the offspring of my favorite pairing... :D http:///#/d48wyxk Not long after I began TNFF, amazing Internet personality and fellow writer (and much, much, much better artist) Knight-Dawn began her own RikuShi series, complete with potential offspring - one of which is identical to Haruki, even to the name. As a result, if you visit her profile, you're likely to find some of her own Haruki artwork, like this one: http:///art/Haruki-308339768 Check it out, please! Also, because I have some of the COOLEST friends ever (if you don't mind me bragging), Knight-Dawn requested another Haruki pic for me: http:///?q=Harukirequest#/d5mjkif Thanks again, friend! As a quick note while we're on the subject of "The New Future's Face," goldeneyes713 and I have officially decided that Haruki's birthday is to be observed on the 19th of May - that's the midpoint between her birthday and my half-birthday, so sue me. :P Just in case you're interested... You've likely forgotten he's alive as thoroughly as I've neglected to update his story. Never fear, though, for during the hiatus, his story has been undergoing continuous development!
