I’ve been scribbling stories ever since grade school - which was a REALLY long time ago. :-) I'd love to take a real writing course or two one of these days, but meanwhile I just write whenever and wherever the opportunity arises.

One of my favorite ways to relax is to write fanfiction for a few favorite television series. There's nothing quite like the process of taking a beloved character and tossing him or her into a new set of circumstances. It's also fun to imagine what might happen during the commercials or after the end credits of a particularly intriguing episode. And in the case of a show that was ended too soon, there's a definite catharsis to writing happy endings.

Fanfiction is a fun way to "work" at developing the craft of writing. Imho, each story should be better written than the last, so constructive criticism from readers and fellow writers is always welcome.
