Yep I pretty much died having a giggle fit right then and there lol awesome ending to a great chapter in this crazy AUish Cannonish story you got me hooked on lol

So first of all, I love this whole series. Just saying. :D I found them all on AO3 (Avengers is pretty much the only fandom I read over there) and was excited to find them on FFN where I could favorite you. XD Been meaning to get around to reviewing at least /some/ of them. :P

Anyway, I love your characterization of literally everyone here. I'm especially impressed now that I've actually /tried/ writing Avengers-fic and, well, there's a reason Tony and Thor only got like two lines each. :P I'm pretty sure I used your stories for character research, and if I didn't I definitely will if I ever write in the fandom again.

There were a lot of parts that made me laugh, particularly Tony's threatening to get everyone else to move in. Bruce cutting in right after Clint saying no one could know what it was like to be controlled was honestly as amusing as it was... aww-inducing, for lack of a better term at the moment. And the line "Any story that funny had to be at least a level seven" was just great.

But I think my all-time favorite part of this fic is the whole sequence around the equation of the likelihood of an Avenger being in the kitchen at stupid-o-clock in the morning. I'm just really in love with that concept... way more than I probably should be. XD

And the whole story was really sweet too. My smile turned from humor to, uh, sappiness (why can't I find good words today?) when the whole team came together for Clint's "therapy appointments". You struck a good balance here.

In just about any other story, I might call this a bit dialogue-heavy, but it really, really works here. You nailed the Avengers-style dialogue that I struggle with so much, and I love it. I don't think I could gush enough about how good it is.

I really like that you've focused on the PTSD aspect, where you highlight the seriousness of it but handle a lot of it with humour to (I guess when you are writing Tony Stark you kind of have to!).

I thought the beginning of the chapter was really good, capturing Steve's fear and the realisation of the freezing cold.

Looooved it! You know I never even thought of Steve having nightmares about drowning in the ocean and being frozen. I feel stupid for not considering it. Great chapter! I loved the 3am bonding between the guys :)
