Hi! I'm Jet Black Lily, and i absolutely love reading and writing! My favourite books include: Harry Potter, Inkheart, His Dark Materials, any of Jane Austen's books (I LOVE CLASSICS). Characters i love from Harry Potter:

Fred and George Weasley- I love their exuberance, and their mischievious nature, and the fact that they generally never take it too far into bullying. I love the fact that they always wanted to run a joke shop, and they made it happen.

Hermione Granger- Even though she's a bit of a know-it-all, i really like her as a character, and feel that she put up with so much from Ron, who annoys me slightly. She has a really strong character, and even though the man she loves abandones them in DH and she could choose to go with him, she stays because she promised Harry that she would. Which i really like

Lily Evans- I love the memories, when it shows about Lily and Severus' friendship. She always seems really interesting, and I like how she stood up for Severus when no-one else would. She seems really loyal, and isn't perfect which is nice.

James Potter- I know that people say he's a bully. But I think that for him, Snape stood for all that was wrong in the world, and he didn't know quite what to do about it. Also, i think he's intensely loyal, and I like how he always knew he like Lily Evans, and didn't play around. He saved Severus Snape from Remus, and I think that took lots of courage.

Harry Potter- Even though he's quite angsty, he has a lot of courage and determination

REMUS LUPIN! My favourite character!- I love Remus Lupin. I like how he always kept fighting, even though he probably had one of the saddest lives of them all. He's a werewolf, and so discriminated against, and can hardly hold a job, making him poor. He makes three best friends, but then James and Lily (I always though they were good friends) die, as well as Peter, and it all seems to be at the hand of his other best friend, Sirius. He then spends 12/13 years alone! Then, Sirius breaks out of Azkaban, and he has to wrestle with a load of guilt about the animagus transformations. Then, he finally discovers that Sirius is innocent, but that Peter is the one that killed James and Lily! And if that isn't enough, Sirius dies after they have only two more years together. He finds happiness with Tonks, but has to feel guilt about their relationship all the time, just because he's a werewolf. And then, he dies along with Tonks, leaving his son to grow up alone, just like Harry. It's all so sad, and makes me value his personality all the more.

Andromeda Tonks- Even though she's virtually been brain-washed by her parents the whole of her life, she stood up for what she believed in, and didn't take the cowardly route out, even though she knew she'd be disowned for it.

Ted Tonks- He was willing to put himself in the line of fire, just because he loved Andromeda, and he didn't care as much, because he loved her so much

Alice and Frank Longbottom- I hate that they were tortured into insanity. I always hoped that a cure would be found, or that when Bellatrix died they would regain their sanity, as i always felt so sorry for both neville and them. it's almost worse for him, than for Harry, because he has to go visit his parents, and see that they have no clue who he is, and he will have to watch their condition deterioate.

Charlie Weasley- I don;t know why i like him quite so much, it might be the fact that he's a dragon keeper, which sounds a pretty cool job, but i've always liked him. He always seems quite nice.

Ginny Weasley- I LOVE Ginny. I like how she started off as a bit of a fan-girl, but learnt what Harry was like, and fell in love with the real Harry POtter. She's a great character, really funny, and brave, and stands up for what she believes in. I love that she ended up with Harry, i always wanted her to.

Oliver Wood- Even though he's a bit of a Quidditch dictator, i like that he's so commited to something, and puts his all into it.

Luna Lovegood- She's great. Real good value. The things she comes up with our brilliant, and she's gently hilarious. One of my favourite characters, i like how she thinks outside the box.

Sirius Black- He, like Remus, had a real hard life, but i like how he was such a fatherly figure to Harry, even though it must hurt him when he sees Harry, because he look so much like his dead best friend James, which must be horrible for him, to have someone who looks so much like your best friend, but know that it isn't them really.

Nymphadora Tonks- Tonks is just hilarious, i like her clumsiness. I love how she ended up with Remus, i always thought that they'd make a great couple and balance each other out, so was very happy that they got married.
