 Author has written 13 stories for One Tree Hill, Host, Twilight, Veronica Mars, and Arrow. So I'm back! I was originally around about 4 years ago - and I was at uni. Now I'm here again - and guess what? I'm back at uni! This time doing my masters. So what does that mean? Once again I am reverting to my favourite form of procrastination - FANFICTION. I've always loved this site, it is my go-to place when I am bored or generally in need of something to do. As my previous profile said, I read A LOT of fanfiction - probably an unhealthy amount. I have since learnt that I grow attachments to thing - some might say bordering on obsession. If you have a look at my writing history, you can probably tell what obsession I was going through at the time. My latest obsession is with Arrow. So I started watching the show when it was on free to air here in Australia, and while I enjoyed the character of Felicity and was amused by her constant Freudian slips, it didn't even cross my mind that there would be an Oliver/Felicity relationship (I was very much swayed by the canon world presented to me). Then I had some time on my hands and strolled into the Arrow fanfiction world where Olicity is very much a thing - and I loved it! So now I go looking for all things Arrow, very much ship Olicity and religiously watch Season 2 online (grr Australian tv!) As for my writing style, I have this weird thing about things having to make sense (even though it's fan fiction and really whatever you say goes). It probably has a lot to do with wanting to stick as close to canon as possible - sometimes I sorely lack in creativity so I like starting point (usually the original storyline). And I catch a muse from time to time, and get this really great idea - but then the motivation fades and unfortunately my story dwindles away. Oh and I don't use a beta so if my stories suck that's all on me :) |
