Alright. So I was trawling through fanfics (as you do) and I came across this story titled 'My Immortal'. It's written by this crazy, mentally disabled kid called XXXbloodyrists666XXX and it is the funniest thing I've seen for a long, long time. I can't decide if it's some sort of joke - a person pretending to be 'gottik', or if it is actually real. But, God, whatever it is... you can't go past it. It's like a beacon of stupidity in what I now see as a relatively intelligent world. This girl... will have severe psychiatric problems once all of the flames die down. If she didn't before.

So, if I come across as a bit cruel, go check her out. She butchers the English language, and Harry Potter (my favourite fandom) within an inch of their lives. While it is funny, it's also very, very annoying. But still. Go read. My favourite bit was when her account was hacked and a 'parody' chapter was posted (and even when the hacker was TRYING they couldn't make it as terrible).

I've added her to my fav's (although really that's for the hacker) so you can link there. And then, when you're done reading the fic (and that process goes like this - chapter 1, 2, 3, 38, 44) then check out her user page. Follow the link to her petition.

(She has over 7,000 flames. And let me assure you: they are all flames. Apart from the ones she wrote herself. Most people don't get 1k reviews, flames included... and this kid hauled 7,000? Life is sometimes unfair.)

Anyway, I couldn't let it pass.
