Continuation of my story 'Picking Up The Pieces'. This is a MacRiley fic.

Angus MacGyver is a two-year-old boy living with his bomber father. Being abused by the man his whole life, Mac has never known anything but the life he lives, and his boundless knowledge of course. When his dad finally gets caught for his deeds, little Mac connects with a particular CIA agent. Can he find a home with the agent and his family?

After everything that went down with Codex. Mac needs someone to lean on. Riley just so happens to be that someone.

Jack walks into the wrong lab at the wrong time. Posting this to coincide with the the "drugged jack weekend" over on Tumblr. Jack is drugged, though I doubt this is what the challenge creators had in mind.

Mac is very ill and Jack keeps vigil. Ambiguous ending.

After losing most of their team, Jack takes Mac home. Picks up a few weeks after When Jack met Mac. "Thanks, Jack. But what will your family think of me showing up with you?" "That, they'll see when they meet you. We Daltons have a habit of finding people that are a little lost. Right now, we both need to find ourselves again, and I've always managed to do that by coming here."

The first time Mac and Jack shared an uncomfortably personal moment, a sandbox fic. Gen fic. Rated for nudity and talk of private parts. Sounds bad but it is really innocent and sweet.

Episode tag to Save the Dam World. 4x13. There is no way that Mac walked away unscathed, so Riley makes sure that he is ok.

In Italy Mac and Nikki lost their partner Reese and lost a deadly virus that terrorists are planning to release it to kill millions. DXS needs a new agent and Matilda Webber knows who to call. MacRiley is the big subject in this fic.

This is a Mac desperately trying to make her believe he has defected. That everything that has ever happened in his life has led him here; all the pain and ache he has ever felt in his heart has chipped away at all the goodness that resided in him, that was the essence of Mac, and left him in a state of perpetual darkness – pitch black night sky all around him, no shadows...

"I can't exactly pinpoint when it happened, but leaving you stopped being an option. Everything could go to shit, but I would always find a way to come back home to you." His eyes look at her with such conviction she has no choice but to believe him.

"But if we don't make it out of here, this is the only way I want to go." Mac's voice breaks and Riley's heart with it.

Jack tells Mac he decided to re-up because he's too valuable to Uncle Sam to lose just yet, but we all know that's only part of the reason he stayed. This is the story of what /really/ happened to lead Jack to re-enlisting. (Rated for mild swearing)

Chapter 6: Mac and Riley are stuck in a car with a broken AC, but Mac wouldn't be Mac if he didn't have an idea

This is an alternate universe story with Mac and Jack Bromance, the team as family and slow burn MacRiley. Mac and Nikki just lost their partner and Matty decided to hire Jack as their new one. Jack has just been fired from the CIA, Diane is his girlfriend and Riley is like a daugher to him.

Murdoc's class is back in session and ready for round three, and these lessons are brutal. The curve can't save them, and maybe Mac can't, either. Exam three is here; I hope for Riley's sake everyone has studied. PLEASE read A/N; this is the 5th story in this series and the 4th story from me.

Mac is summoned to emergency babysitting duties, just a day with Mac and his favorite twins

Around S4 episodes 9 and 10. Turns out emotional trauma, concussions, and experimental drugs don't mix quite as easily as one might think. Mac's dark side does more than toss him a creepy grin from the other side of a window when getting "lost in his head" is taken up a notch. And the only thing that is going to save him is the team coming together as a family-the whole team.

This is a fic about Mac and Riley's POV on the events of season 4. The first two chapters are about Riley and there will be two more about Mac.

I love a big project. And I've been missing the bromance. Missing the guys. So, I'm going back to the beginning. Missing scenes, expansions, extras ... Whump. I'm starting with The Rising. Because why not? This is rated T because this is a story about adults with dangerous jobs and love lives. So language and whatnot. I own nothing. I'm just here for fun. Mac and Jack are back!

Mac hurt his hand during the op in Cyprus, retrieving Ethan, and Jack helps it patch up on the plane ride home. The boys have a talk.

After Mac receives a bad diagnosis and tries to push his partner away, Jack proves that he always has Mac's back. Post-season 4 & probably, somewhat, definitely AU from season 5.

Riley was certain the universe was punishing her for previous sins. Or it was Karma, payback for the many times she used her attractiveness and an expertly fitted dress to meet the needs of the hour. Because there she was, once again, having to take in the extraordinary vision of Mac wearing a perfectly fitted tuxedo, while seeking control of her how high-jacked libido.

Mac finds something special when he visits his parents' grave on Father's Day. Spoilers for season four!

An episode tag to 4x13 (season finale). What if, instead of emerging unharmed from the underground, Mac was more seriously injured? He did, after all, narrowly escape an explosion. And what if, after the whole ordeal, Jack makes an appearance as well? Strap in for some good old Mac whump and Jack comfort.

He turned around to find Jack leaning against the GTO, watching Mac fondly, and looked back at the dog. Then back at Jack. "You! It was you, wasn't it?" Jack shrugged, but he was grinning and Mac just knew.

Set after Season 4, Episode 7. Mac and Riley are now living together. Aubrey broke up with Riley after the unfortunate circumstances of their double date. Riley is wrestling with morphing feelings towards Mac, Mac is intrigued by the what will come out of the current circumstances.

In ten years, Matilda Webber only received two calls from her former partner. Both calls were straightforward. To the point. Impersonal. They warmed her heart more than she cared to admit.

1. The Rising: This isn't the first time Mac's been shot, he's felt the sharp bite of a bullet before, but seeing Nikki's blank expression as she falls backward into Lake Como hurts more than the bullet in his own chest ever could.

Why was Jack freaking out in the car with Mac and Riley? After returning home, Jack tells Mac about an ordeal in Nick's past. Takes place after the first scene in the season one episode Wrench. Major spoilers for the fifth season CSI episode Grave Danger.

Six months after Jack went to hunt down Kovacs he's finally going home.

This time when he knocks at the door, it seems like he’s channelling all the anger and frustration within him and taking it out on the poor door. “Open the door, Riles. I know you’re in there,” he calls out mid-knock.

Just as it had taken Jack time to befriend Mac, it's going to take time for Bozer to warm up to his best friend's new Army pal. Or, Mac and Jack's relationship (in all its angsty, h/c glory) through Bozer's eyes. Rated for themes of war and trauma.

With Codex and D.C. behind him, and a much clearer head, Mac finally says some things to Riley that he should have sooner. Takes place right after 4x13 – will be in two parts.

What they find instead is one missing, one bleeding out, and one concussed and refusing to let them anywhere near his partner. His last thought before the darkness takes him away is if either of them will still be alive when-if-that rescue comes.

Reminders of the past are torturing MacGyver. Will the team be able to find the man behind that, before it will destroy Mac? I don't own any of the characters.

Stargate/MacGyver crossover. Tag to: Red Cell Quantum Cold Committed. I feel like the MacGyver writers passed up a huge opportunity for a wink at Stargate this episode, so I decided to correct it.

After weeks of being tortured, there's only one person who can convince MacGyver that he's home. Hurt/Confused Mac, Hurt/Papa Jack.

When Mac and Jack get to LA Jack doesn't have a place to live. (Teacher AU) Set directly after 'Carry Me Home'

"Jack, sit-rep now!" Matty demanded. But Jack was too numb to obey his boss. He kept his gun trained on the door as he leaned down to check the body, praying the whole time.

I couldn't come up with a title for this quickie featuring the end of an op, grand theft auto, and a race to exfil. So this works. Rated T for whump.

Set sometime between season three and four, after the Phoenix has fallen. Bozer goes to check up on his friend.

It has been almost a year since Jack left to hunt down Kovac; almost a year since he's seen his boy. But, they are about to be reunited...so Mac can be used as leverage in getting Jack to talk. Jack would never betray his country, but this is Mac on the line.

When MacGyver and Jack go missing while working undercover it's up to Riley and the rest of the team to find their friends in time. Mac whump, Jack whump and Riley whump. I don't own any of the characters.

This story is set late in Season 1 as Matty settles into her new role and the team adjusts to her leadership. Mac and Matty especially struggle with the transition. The whump will hit Mac, Jack, Riley, and Bozer for sure, but all MacGyver characters are fair game. Reviews appreciated!

Well here we go! Running up until January when the new episodes come out, I am adding in my two cents on Season 3. I will add to scenes and change scenes slightly to make my own versions-let's face it to add more whump mostly. I do try to stay more in canon on these than I do in my normal stories. Jack's not dead; he's just not there. Mac knows this. Jack's not there because he's somewhere else, in harm's way, and he left Mac behind. In the heat of a mission, it's easier to put that thought aside, but after, when they're all together like this, there's an empty chair in their circle. And the thoughts-the worry, the hurt, yes, the guilt-returns, and Mac just needs to know why

After another mission gone wrong, Mac and Jack find themselves out in the wintry landscape of the Alps with a few injuries to tend to. One-shot with some Mac whump.

Just an early Season One mission gone wrong, plotless whumpy fic.

Jack's hand reached out, shaking but determined, and slapped at the air until clumsy fingers brushed against Mac's arm and he gripped the material of his shirt sleeve like a lifeline. "I can't see, Mac."

Held captive by unknown abductors and holding his grievously wounded son in his arms, James finally starts to realize that his initially well-meant disappearance messed with his kid's mind in a way he'd never anticipated. It's too late to repair the damage that's been done to the little boy so many years ago. What he might be able to do is give a dying man some peace of mind.

Running ground control was always difficult for Matty. When she gets a call that one of her agents has been exposed to potentially deadly VX, there's nothing she can do except hope she gives the right orders.

It had been close to a year that he'd been gone. Three months since they'd last spoken. Two since he and his team had ceased communication with the base. Ten minutes since James and Matty had come in to deliver the news.

A day-long chase leaves Mac and Desi exhausted, badly hurt and stranded in an abandoned safe house.

When Mac neglects to report an illness to Matty; she institutes new rules that have a less than desirable effect on Mac. This story is weaved around the half of Season 2 so the first several chapters will be missing scenes from the first couple of Season 2 episodes that set up the story. The first time Mac gets badly injured on Jack's watch might just be the last.

To say that Mac is dealing poorly with the aftermaths of the events in 3x22 is putting it quite nicely. In fact, he is going down in a whirl of grief, guilt, disconcertion and self-hate. Matty has come over for a heart-to-heart... WARNING: Spoilers for the finale and season 3 in general! This won't make a lot of sense, if you haven't seen the episode.

It starts, when MacGyver does Murdoc and Cassian a favor. Afterward, a series of brief encounters leads to a compromise and a relationship. Murdoc wasn't exactly lying, when he called MacGyver and his friends "our little family."

There is more to Desi than meets the eye. She is smart, brave, and also has a past with one of the Phoenix's greatest enemies. Will her past get her in trouble? Or will she resist? Please enjoy.

When a snowstorm delays their ex-fil, and the team is forced to take shelter in a remote cabin. What will happen when MacGyver becomes ill, and might require surgery?

"C'mon, Jack," Mac forced himself to laugh as he reached out and carefully took Jack's hand. "Despite what you want people to think, you're not stupid. You'd tell me if you actually got bit by a…" His words trailed off and his mouth went dry despite the water he had just downed as he turned Jack's hand over and saw the two puncture marks.

Sometimes even the simplest ops can go badly awry, with painful consequences... Shameless whump (mostly Mac) and torture (more painful for Jack).

Bozer learns exactly how awful it is to watch as Mac is tortured during an op. Warning for language and feels. Talk of torture.

"You know this is gonna suck, right? I don't gotta warn you?" Mac nodded, leaning to the side a bit so that he could rest against the doorframe while Jack worked. "Go for it." Jack sighed and gently picked up Mac's hand in his own, starting with the barbs buried deep in his palm. "Alright, here we go,"

A short one shot. What happens the first time Mac has to diffuse a bomb after he failed with the elevator bomb that killed Charlie. No warnings.

It takes being drugged with truth serum for Mac to finally open up about things that have been bothering him. Luckily, even drugged himself, Jack is a good listener.

Phoenix catches wind of a plan to steal the prize money from a charity rodeo event. Obviously, Matty's first instinct is to send in Mac and Jack. What could possibly go wrong...?

Five times Mac needed Jack but wouldn't admit it, and one time he did. Series of tags/missing scenes throughout S3. Mac was trained to find the solution, to be the solution. He was conditioned to internalize his struggles, his pain. Needing people was a liability. But then he lost a friend. And his carefully constructed world disintegrated around him.

It's dark when Mac wakes up so it takes him a few moments to decide that he really is awake. It's the worst kind of darkness, suffocatingly black. He can't tell if his eyes are actually open or not, although, maybe it's a good thing it's so dark because any form of light would make the brutal pounding in his head even worse and he's pretty sure that's not something he wants.

When Jack finally returns from his assignment to take down Tiberius Kovacs, he learns very quickly that the mission left him with invisible scars, but it's the person he cares about most who ends up suffering for it. Can Mac forgive him, can he forgive himself?

Why was Jack acting so odd/OOC in the first few episodes of Season 2? This is what I came up with after rewatching over the past couple weeks. Mostly just Mac&Jack, but the other main characters make some cameo appearances. HurtJack/ComfortingMac AND HurtMac/ComfortingJack Rated T to be safe.

S2E4 AU… Mac doesn't get away before Murdoc has time to use his toys. The Mac that escapes from the sewer is in way worse shape than the team had expected.

Summary: Suffering from a head injury, MacGyver has trouble remembering and understanding why Jack isn't around. A/N: I've read a few fics where Jack Skypes in weekly, and I thought-what if he calls in and MacGyver is not in the shape that he left him.

In the middle of the morning on a normal day, Mac is taken and circumstances outside their control stop Jack, Riley, and Bozer from being able to go after him. Mac is kidnapped by Murdoc, sending the team on a mission to rescue him and deal with the trauma of the event. Probably a 'more than is healthy' dose of H/C, action, building of relationships between characters. For SPN fans, there's a little Easter Egg in here for you, too!
